When I first opened these I was immediately impressed with how large they are. When I took outside I dropped one and no damage. Another plus. But what really amazed me was how EASILY the stake pushed through the weedblock in my front beds! I have had several different types of these lights and can never get through the weedblock without a struggle. The first day I put these out it was gray and dreary. So that first night they didn't stay on long. The next day was sunny and that night they were fully charged and stayed on. I was very pleased (and surprised) with what a large bright circle of light they gave off. Very happy.

Exactly as advertised. They were very professionally packaged as I think it took longer to unwrap the components than it did to assemble. I did break one of the silver screws that mount the GLASS globe (Not plastic globes as others have mentioned) to the stake assembly so I will be reaching out to see if there is a replacement screw available. The attached picture is from one of my security cameras but gives a general idea of lighting patterns which looked excellent. If anything they sell themselves short on cycle time as all 23 lights stayed lit over 10 hours and were still illuminating on my way to work this morning (8 PM to 6:15 AM). If any issues arise I will update accordingly but right now I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I've had hundreds of various solar lights over the years. Most are disappointing in construction and output. But these Pathway lights by Brightown were a pleasant surprise in that they shine a clear bright area as depicted in the online ad's photo. As shown, if placed five to six feet apart it provides plenty of light to guide guests from one property area to another. The photo I included with this review shows an alternate use where I highlight the side of our house by placing the fixtures approximately ten to twelve feet apart near doors and under windows. On an average Midwest sunny day, even with high thin clouds, it charged the lights sufficient to light the side of our house all night. I'm going to order another dozen to light the other side of our house now.

The Brightown pathway lights arrived three days early and were packaged so that there couldn't be any damage to the items. They were bubble wrapped and care was taken that they arrived safely. Set up was easy and one thing I noticed was inside the lights there is a metallic reflector at the bottom of the light. This diffuses more light so more is cast around the light rather than simply aimed at the stake. Even the stakes are serrated to better hold in the soil. I did not get the feeling that the light was flimsy or would break as I put it into partially frozen soil with no problems. They look really good against the snow. I had to remove the smaller lights I previously used because they were overpowered. I put the skimpy lights in the back.Check out the photo after a full day covered in snow and still putting out light.They are bright.Easy to set up.They seem to be a good value for the money.

I have been in the market for some new outdoor pathway lights, but was wanting something a little different from everyone else in my neighborhood. So many times I have looked for these and they are so cheaply made that they break just when we try to place them in the ground. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and found out that these are not plastic and it is actual glass. This set of 8 is really top of the line. It is so cloudy and rainy here that I haven't had time to actually place these along my walkway, but I have set one out to charge and then looked at how the light was going to shine. I absolutely love what I would call a starburst pattern of light. These are going to look so beautiful once the rain stops and I can get out and set these up. Thinking of getting a second set for more overlap of light along my walkway. Definitely happy with this purchase.

I have been searching up and down for months for solar lights that are large enough to match the size of my house that actually light up. The search is over! These came beautifully packaged, with extra poles just in case you break one or two. I absolutely love how the look in my entery. Bright and beautiful. Thank you for the great service! I really like these, they aren't super bright, but they are bright for their size. I have largest ones that ate bright but I like these much better because the pattern they throw adds a lot of interest. I've already recommended these to several people. Get them. The value is great for lights this bright with GLASS. Plastic gets discolored and just doesn't look as nice.

I'm often disappointed with the quality of solar lights, but these were a good surprise. First of all, the packaging was done very well with each piece individually wrapped and protected. They assembled very quickly and are slightly taller than the average solar light. However, I was most impressed with how they looked once put in our yard. It is winter here in Connecticut, so the sun is not as strong this time of the year. However, the lights put out a pretty bright light from the solar charge. It is enough light for our dark sidewalk. Also, the clear globe portion of the light has a design on it that displays rays of light around the solar light, making them somewhat elegant. Very happy with purchase.

The lights came in a well packaged box with each component safely wrapped in a bubble wrap.They come with a solar rechargeable battery in each light. Pretty easy to assemble, light weight and looks fancy.Instructions given to set them up were very clear.I have put them up in the front lawn.Its really snowy here in Canada and the lights still managed to work wepl despite of some frost sticking up on the solar panel, thanks to the all weather durability.Great lights, worth the money.

I’ve been having electrical issues with my outdoor lights and wanted to make a switch to solar power, and these came recommended by a friend.They were packaged super well and very easy to assemble. They are lightweight, but great quality. They are now lighting up the walkway to my front door, and not only am I no longer tripping on my walkway, but I have pretty little designs reflected on the snow below the lights :)Great purchase, would definitely recommend!

The media could not be loaded.  This was my second order of the solar lights.I loved my first order because they are so bright and worked immediately.I live in a high rise apartment and my balcony is of the south side. They get plenty of sun.My second order all lit up but two.... there is not even a flicker.So I do not have the twelve lights for my flower pots ... sad.I threw away the boxes and can not be bothered sending them back.If it was not for the two that do not lite I would of gave five stars.Rena

I returned it cause it's not too bright for what I want. I find it expensive too. Their customer service is excellent though for allowing me to return the product

Not made for Vancouver weather , would only stay lit for 3-4hours even on a non rainy day
