Works great, but issues with install
The mounting plate on the bottom of the motor was about an inch closer to the pump where the hoses attach. So in order to mount this, I had to create a custom mounting plate.The hoses in my hot tub have very little wiggle room so the pump needs to be in almost the exact same space. It took me a few attempts to get things right.This doesn't mean it's a bad product, just consider this when our purchasing. You might have to remount the how the motor attaches. Sounds easy but it wasn't.

Works great
The pump works great. May be a little too powerful as I replaced a 2hp with a 3 hp, but all I had to do was turn the jets down. Saved me a lot of money

Great product and great price
I used it for hot tub and easy to install. I like it and the price was great.

Froze up in 18 months
This only lasted for 18 months before the armature froze. At $309 that is nearly $20 a month. Very poor. I do live on the coast which has harsh weather but that is still pretty bad.

Perfect direct Replacement for a Sundance Optima 880 hot tub
This pump was identical to the one that died in my Sundance Optima 880 hot tub. A direct swap. Just note that there may be a part or two that you will have to remove off the old pump and move over to the new one in the process. But started right up and so far so good. I’m very happy.

Good pump. Easy to install. Lasted 3 yrs but now starting to grind in high speed.

Works great!
This product absolutely does its job! We are very pleased with the it, but to be totally honest it was a bit bothersome to install. I am not an electrician, so I was uncomfortable wiring it up myself as the instructions were a bit sketchy to me, (again not an expert), so I had a neighbor electrician come by an in 10 minutes had it wired up and on its way. So if you can read instructions well and get the electrical part, it would be an easy install, but for the total novice about electrical stuff, I went with a professional. Totally worth the money.
