After a couple of days in use the mat is holding up well. It sheds very little and there is no sign of fibers in the house. It is a little light, which I was surprised by. Make sure this is up against your door frame or it may slide around.

So I've had my mat for two weeks and with a little bit of rain not much here in California the black Cheveron pattern is sooo faded and almost non existent:(

I really like the pattern and it's a nice thick mat, but it washed out in the rain in less than 6 months...

it's exactly as described it's just what I wanted

Doormat lost its color and faded VERY FAST without even much wear and tear on it. Disappointed.
