The Risk-Based Approach to Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Paperback – July 21, 2015

I've recently taken an Anti Money Laundering exam for ICT/ICA, and this book helped tremendously with my research and preparation. Ehi has an outstanding understanding and grasp on UK legislation and the financial markets, as well as US and other juristicitions - this breadth of coverage helps the reader to gain a greater understanding of the issues faced by the UK banking industry as well as those dealing with industry outside of the UK.The book itself, is very well written, and set out in an easy to read format, which helps as there is so much information in this book, having it produced in this manner aids the reader to digest its content, with comparisons of each topic being explained against other jurisdictions.I can't recommend this book enough, for those either starting out to learn the industry as whole (like myself), or for seasoned practitioners, to brush up on their knowledge. I'm not usually a person who leaves reviews, but I had to on this occasion, as Ehi style of writing and communication outside of this book (we've had dialog on Linked In) have been superb.I purchased the book in Kindle format, and it very well presented, without any format issues at all.Happy ready all, and role on the next book - perhaps, about the impact of the 4AMLD Ehi?regardsWayne

One of the best books on the market with practical approaches to risk, I read it in one seating; I just couldn't put it down. Ehi has a straight forward approach and readable without too much unnecessary detail or jargon as others have. This book is a great reference book for the compliance officer or risk manager who knows the regulatory requirements, but wants a practical approach to apply these regulations within his/her organisation.

Just received the book today. I was really happy to see it moves away from typical theory and attempts a practical approach to risk-based AML! I think it's a must for those in the AML community that feel like they should start thinking outside the box!
