This mascara really works! It does give your lashes more length and volume. One of my favorites! It just barely smudges but just barely.

The mascara delivers strong volume and gives lashes a bold, noticeable look. It goes on smoothly and does not flake during the day, which is impressive for something in this price range. The only drawback is that it can clump if you apply too many layers. Overall, it performs very well and feels like a solid value.

Really like this mascara. Applies thick but not too thick. Lengthens and makes the eyes pop. Has lasted a long time for me. And it is not crazy expensive like other brands.

I've been meaning to write a 5 star review for this mascara for some time now, because this mascara WAS perfect. I'm VERY picky with my mascara and have tried almost everything on the market. For many years I used Le Volume and this is the first and only mascara that ever came close to providing the volume and (importantly) separation of my lashes. I discovered this mascara about a year ago through online searches for dupes and knew when I saw the wand that this might be the one. Sure enough it was perfect and gave me the same results for a fraction of the price. I bought MANY more as gifts for others and have recommended it to countless others. Then, earlier this year, essence inexplicably changed the wand. It is no longer sturdy and is very flexible/bendy. Now, application is much messier, requiring more stability on my part. Most importantly, it doesn't separate lashes AT ALL because there's no grip on the wand since it bends. Worst of all, when they changed the wand they also tweaked the tube itself, so the old wand cannot screw in to the new mascara tube. It looks almost identical, but the old wand will not screw on to the new tube. So now, I have to keep one new tube with the mascara to apply (looks like a sloppy toddler did it with this new wand), and one old tube with the wand that actually works (to actually make the lashes look good). I'm sure it's not great to keep using this old wand for months on end, but what's a girl to do? That was the functional part of this item that made me love it, and now they've basically ruined it. WHY did you do this essence?! Please give us the old stiff wand back, or make a new mascara with the old wand, or sell the old wand stand-alone with a cap that screws in to the new package. Please I'm literally begging to go back to the perfect product you had.

Beast mode mascara! She's a thiccc girl! Wears great.. only issue is it clumps at the tip of the wand. You'll have to dab it off. Otherwise dang.. she bang!

I don't usually buy mascara for volume, let alone blue, but this product impressed me. It gives beautiful volume to the lashes, doesn't weigh them down excessively, and keeps them curled and elongated throughout the day. It lasts well without spreading or crumbling under the eyes. The blue is intense, bright, beautifully accentuating the color of the eyes. It feels light on the lashes and the formula is neither too wet nor too waxy. The brush is made of soft silicone and didn't bother me when applying. I really like it.
