MENSI Propane Gas Grill Regulator with 1/4" Quick Connect Cylinder Tank Adapter Connect 20-50lbs Bottle

I received a small gas grill as a gift and when I took it with me on a camping trip and finally put it together, I didn't have the correct connections to use it with my 20 lb. propane tank. This was just what I needed at a great price. Just wish I would have known I needed it before my last camping trip. Can't wait for my next trip now.

This adapter works perfectly with our Blackstone griddle. Makes portable use of a 20# tank. Paired this with a tank Y to be able to run two appliances at the same time.Definately would buy again if setting up another device.

This device allows us to run any gas griddle or grill or fire pit anytime, anywhere. Replaces the need for the "green bottles" when a 20lb tank is available. Just handy to have around.

Just what we needed

I use it to hook my blackstone/camper quick connect hose up to a 20lb grill tank, as to not be tied to my camper to use the griddle.

Used this to connect to our 22” black stone griddle and well nothing bad to say connects and works like it’s supposed to so have to give it two thumbs up!

The female valved quick connect is attached with a 1/8 male NPT to 1/8 male NPT adapter, which threads into the regulator. The QCC connector can be removed with a socket (18mm IIRC), but the threading is non-standard (doesn't fit any size NPT or flare connectors). That means you can't directly adapt that side of the regulator for your application, and would need to use a QCC-->NPT adapter mated to the QCC connector that comes on the regulator, thus adding an extra two fittings to your line. For this reason, you wouldn't want to use this regulator to replace the one that comes on a portable grill like the Weber Q1200. It takes a lot of torque to remove components because they're affixed with liquid threadsealer. The quick connect works alright, although the valve handle catches on the knurling, making it difficult to open all the way. Perhaps by accident of design, this makes it almost impossible to disconnect the quick connect without closing the valve first, which is actually a good thing. Good value overall. There's a strangely misleading arrow pointing at the vent hole. Such an arrow is typically used to indicate direction of flow, which it's pointing in the opposite direction of, so just ignore that. Direction of flow is from QCC to quick connect.

This adapter is a game changer!! So easy to use. Now as long as I have it, there is no problems getting hooked up to any of my cooking appliances when we are camping.
