Technique
Did not like the product the first time I used it the second time I used it I sliced my potatoes so they were longer and slender and this works flawlessly. It did a beautiful job. It’s all a matter of how you cut the potatoes so that they will feed into the shoot better try it you’ll like it.

It just doesn’t rice anything even soft cooked potatoes wouldnt recommend

Not an effective ricer
If it only worked as well as they said it would. Took a good hour of frustrating work to rice 3 lbs of potatoes. It just wanted to spin the potatoes around in the spiral chamber, not force them through the ricer holes. I bought this from a local kitchen store (not Amazon). Won’t use it again. I guess I’m back in the market for a potato ricer.
