I've been through a lot of cleansers lately, trying to find one that is right for my situation. I am 37, but still break out occasionally with blackheads and hormonal acne. I can't use stuff designed for teen breakouts, they're just harsh. I can't use the things designed with acne-fighting combined with anti-aging, because anti-aging ingredients seem to be too much & cause me to break out more.This Yes To Tomatoes product has worked very well for me, and I am a new fan of Yes To products in general now. I find this cleanser removes my makeup well, and on the days when my face feels greasy, it gently removes that as well. I don't ever feel like my skin is parched after washing with this (like I have unfortunately found with many other products), so I feel it is maintaining a healthy balance for my skin rather than stripping it.My skin has really improved with breaking out far less, and I am convinced it is because I am using a gentler cleanser combined with a moisturizer that is basically moisture with no added anti-acne or anti-aging additives.I wasn't sure what to expect this to smell like when I ordered it, since tomatoes don't smell that great, especially for personal care products. I was pleasantly surprised to find this product's fragrance is very much like baby powder.The only minor drawback is this doesn't foam up very much. This is really not a big deal, since I know logically "foam" does not equal "clean". And foaming can be caused by ingredients that are not part of the healthy Yes To product standards.I'm definitely going to keep using this cleanser. I've already put it on my Subscribe & Save list, and now I'm trying out a few more products from Yes To.

I used the yes to tomatoes daily pore scrub for years and absolutely loved it. It was the only thing that cleared up my acne. I was DEVASTATED when I found out they discontinued it. I tried their new tomaotes "scrub", the daily detoxifying cleanser with charcoal in it. It actually broke out my face. I tried a few other products to try and clear up the cystic acne that was returning, but nothing was working. I decided to try this tomatoes cleanser without the charcoal, even though it didn't have salicylic acid in it. Within a few days, my acne started clearing up and it's just been getting better and better.My only complaint is the container. The hole is way too big and the product isn't as jellified as other products so it comes out SUPER fast. I actually have to store the container upside down (lid facing up) so I won't get an explosion of product flowing out into my hands when I open the top. I made that mistake once and had to spend a considerable amount of time trying to get the product back in the tube so it wouldn't be wasted.To the company Yes To: PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, do not ever stop making this product or change the formula (your shift to using charcoal in EVERY tomatoes product was a bad one). My skin absolutely depends on this product to stay clear. Also, bring back the daily pore scrub. <_<

This cleanser is great, i really love the yes to tomatoes line. Smells so good and it lathers well. I frequently buy this to use at night when I don't want to waste my expensive natural cleanser before going to bed lol. This works just as nice and smells soothing - to me at least. Fantastic for sensitive skin and is not overly perfume-y definitely gender neutral scent.. smells like baked goods. Anyway claims it has antioxidants but i have yet to see any crazy difference in my skin. but if your looking for something gentle and effective thats not drying and smells so good buy this. I recommend the whole YTT line.

The consistency is thick and oily almost like a shampoo for the face. I use this combined with Queen Helene's oatmeal scrub, and appreciate finding an affordable cruelty-free cleanser online, unlike what we find at local pharmacies. As I have combination skin, I would recommend pairing this with a scrub if you're like me, but if you're looking for an end-of-day cleanser after removing make-up (this does not remove make-up so dont depend on it for that), it's effective and doesnt leave my skin feeling tight or dry and I use it once a day.

I am 53. I have been using this cleanser for approximately 12 years. I think the company misses the mark on the demographic that they are targeting. I do not, nor have I ever needed a cleanser for acne. I initially bought this for my teenagers. However, quickly learned that I liked it too. I have tried other more expensive types, and always come back to this one. I like that it is 98% naturally derived, doesn’t burn the eyes, leaves my skin feeling clean, yet not oily or dry. It is getting quite hard to find, yet I stubbornly keep seeking it out.

I enjoyed way it smelled and the thickness of it. Very aloe fresh and light kind of smell. Cleared my skin pretty well. Good for pores. Less pimples appeared. Only thing is that it peeled a little bit around my nose.

I love this cleanser ! I started using it at the same time when using another cleanser, and I would interchange them but this one won out. I just had to stick with this one because I noticed my face was cleaner, brighter. It just has an overall agreeableness with my skin type. I appreciate how it has rooibos extract so high up in the ingredient list ! I drink Rooibos tea and it's so good for skin! This is a solid product; very well formulated and balanced. I love using it with my Red clay konjac sponge. it suds up perfectly with it.

I was first introduced to this cleanser several years ago. The benefits were experienced regularly until the local retailer discontinued carrying the product.I used the charcoal/tomato line in its place, with some great results, but was recently reunited with the preferred Tomato formulation through Amazon.-The price is double what I paid previously but the product is still the best for me. With the Yes To Tomato Clarifying Cleanser, you would never know I have oily/blemish-prone skin.

Very good cleanser for combination skin!
