I just received my soap dish and I have to say it is very nice. The exterior has a very smooth surface and it looks very nice, kind of spa like. I had to work a little bit to get the lid off which is what I would expect as it is waterproof. The mat inside fits nice and secure. As the product stated it comes with a small foaming net and an over sized band for added protection to keep the lid on. I did put a brand new 5oz bar of Dr. Bronner's bar soap in the dish and tried to close it up. Using the mat it will NOT close with the tight seal that you would want. However, if you take the mat out it fits and seals perfectly. I was able to squeeze it shut and put the rubber band around with the mat inside, however, it still wasn't quite as sealed as it were without the mat. I think once I use the bar a few times and it wears down it'll be just fine. I still plan to keep the dish and use it for travel I'll just bear in mind that it may not be leak proof with a new bar of soap.

This set contains the soap container, a woven plastic mat that fits inside the container and keeps the soap high and dry, a lid, and a snug band to hold it all together. It works very well. The woven material for the soap rest is excellent, and really does keep the soap dry.Remember to tip the container very few days so any collected water drains, and especially before you pack!

I wasn't sure when I purchased this item, but the reviews convinced me to try it. At first a full sized bar of Cetaphil facial soap fit a little too tightly, but after several uses it was perfect. I used it for 3 weeks on a European tour -- never leaked into my luggage. The band to keep it tightly closed worked as intended. I would recommend this item and buy it again.

I use this for showering at the gym after a workout so I needed something that wasn't going to make a mess in my travels. Works great though the mesh bag it came with is a waste. If it was supposed to contain the bar of soap and use as an exfoliator it doesn't work. I can't synch the bag which makes the soap fall out when washing myself.

I used this in my carry-on so it wouldn’t have to go by TSA guidelines for liquids, and it worked out so well. It is sturdy and the band keeps it closed tightly. I love the mesh-like soap saver in the bottom, which helped the soap stay dry, and the exfoliating mesh made sure the soap got sudsy while keeping the soap from sliding out of my hand. I liked the setup so well that I got something similar for regular use in our home bathroom.

Muy buen producto, igual a las fotos, de calidad, rígido y no se abre de repente sella bien la tapa, además el aditamento ayuda mucho para que no quede mucha agua en el recipiente y jabon y si queda humedad no se tira del recipiente.

This is a lovely little soap dish. Definitely suited to the smaller rectangular sizes of soap. The addition of the drying mat is a nice touch. As is the net bag. And as a practical additional travel measure. The sturdy elastic band is well thought out. The overall design is very pleasing on the eye too.Wasn’t quite what I was after though. For my recently purchased Dr Squarch soaps. Which are larger. With a square profile.A pity really. But my loss is someone else’s gain. As I will pass it on to someone who can use it.
