This is great product to add when making Living Soil or Super Soil. These odd shaped clay pellets have are Sterile, ph Nuetral, have high water capacity, reduces watering frequency, allows better rooting, give a place for beneficial fungi and microbes to live and does not break down quickly like perlite or rice hulls.I mix it in with Foxfarm Ocean Forrest potting soil along with other organic amendments which is then left to “cook” for a few weeks before use. The potting soil can than be used over and over again for years by just recharging the soil with organic amendments, and fertilizers, along with beneficial fungi and microbes.It’s been a great products for growing my girls! I just add a cover crop after harvest with nitrogen fixing cover crops until next spring.
