Nearly perfect adjustable frame!
I replaced a bed frame from another company with this one, after missing parts were still unavailable months later (to clarify, that was the other frame NOT this one).I like almost everything about this frame better. The high weight limit is great, some in this price range have an even higher limit, but most are significantly lower. The adjustment is great, it isn't a fully capable wall hugger, but it does move you back a bit, and is a noticeable improvement from my previous frame with 0 wall hugger function. The remote works just fine. The underbed lighting is a cool feature- but essentially useless if you use the shorter legs.NOTE: YOU CANNOT USE THE SHORTEST LEGS PROVIDED IN THE PACKAGE- they come in equal sizes sections, and the instructions do not make it clear that you must use AT LEAST two sections, otherwise the motor will hit the floor when it extends.Aside from that little snafu, my ONLY real complaint is that the legs are plastic instead of metal. At this price range many frames include metal legs, but I also don't really expect any issues from the plastic ones.Setup was a breeze.Highly recommend! If you haven't used an adjustable frame, you need one! I haven't used my CPAP since getting this, and I can climb into bed, adjust it up and just feel the back pain melt away.

This adjustable bed base is making a difference in our lives
The bed base was left IN OUR DRIVEWAY. The delivery guys didn't even knock on the door. The boxes are HEAVY. If you bought the base to relieve back pain, you had better arrange for help (we made a call). That said, once the bed base was opened and the legs screwed on, it was fairly simple to turn it over, and put it in place. The base is easy to plug in and the remotes worked perfectly right away. The sides of the base are securely covered in a medium weight gray material. The bed surface is covered in a thin black plastic membrane - nicely textured - about the thickness of a thin plastic food storage bag (not the freezer type). By the time our base was set up, despite the care taken, there was a tiny tear in the membrane. There is a raised rectangular 1" 'bump' on the surface of each base, top and bottom (we have a split king) where the lift mechanism sits beneath the plane of the base. This has not yet affected use of the 'lift' system, nor the comfort of the sleeping system we put together..We bought expensive natural latex mattresses which work well with the base. We purposely bought 10 inch thick mattresses so the vibration choices would be most effective (back and hip pain). It really works! Even the low level vibration lulls me to sleep, and helps my husband's back pain. The mechanism and vibration is quiet enough for light sleepers. We can rise and walk in the morning without pain, and tossing and turning at night due to pain at pressure points is greatly reduced. The articulation of the lift lines, head and foot, is designed for a short person. I"m 5/7" and my husband is 6'2". By sliding towards the foot of the bed, the leg lift raises my legs into a comfortable position. Since you slide a bit when the head of the bed lifts, it's okay. My husband is not so fortunate - the leg lift only lifts his feet, and leaves calves and part of the thigh unsupported (in the air). He puts a pillow under his legs before he activates the leg lift. Had we counted on a true zero gravity position, as we have in our zero gravity chair, we would have had to return the base. I do think it's a lot of money for a base that is not better articulated (this refers to the lines on which the base 'bends' or 'opens' as it raises at head or foot. The under bed 'night light', which we didn't really want, is the best 'night light' we've ever used. Great feature!Overall, the base is well made, and functions as described. We've found ways to make the articulation work, and find significant pain relief with the base-mattress combination we chose.

Terrific purchase!
I love this bed. It is as advertised and as good as most reviews contend. As a platform for a mattress it works. The mechanicals work flawlessly. Love the zero gravity and presets. The features are way better than I expected. I never expected to use the massage function or nightlight, but each ate pretty useful and cool.Only two negatives:1) there was a part missing. A small bracket that doesn’t seem to matter, but did freak us out during the assembly.2) Assembly itself was easy....EXCEPT this thing ways a metric ton! We have a Cal King, do maybe smaller sizes are more manageable, but it’s a bear to move inside and manipulate during assembly. One more note - from prior reviews we presumed it better to keep the legs short — zero wobbling for us so far.All in all, highly recommend. Just make sure you’ve got a strong friend or two when it’s time to set it up.
