Q: Whats the difference between this and the 40$ one

I don’t see a $40 one but I have this mat and I can tell you it’s awesome. It’s super easy to clean, you just dump the litter and wipe down the top or spray it with cleaner and a hose. It doesn’t all the litter to leave the mat.

Q: Will this cat mat work with wood or pellet cat litter?

Works great, there like little funnels, as the cat walks away it traps the litter in the holes, every time I clean the box, I pick it up at the open end and dump the litter back in litter box easily. But it also depends on the size of the pellets. The holes are about the size around as the tip of a inks finger.

Q: Do you roll the mat before shipping it or do you fold it?

I don’t remember it being rolled or folded. It lays perfectly flat so how it was shipped doesn’t seem to matter. It works really well.

Q: Is it Machine washable? Too many cobflicting answers

It’s a silicone material..so you can rinse it. I rooting throw it in the wash.
