Great and lots in there

These are very easy to use and very easy to adjust once the plant that you have tied up gets a little bigger. Plus 200 of them are plenty .

Good value but a little bit on the stiff side compared with some I’ve had.

Designs like this are meant to be fastened tightly around a cane or pole and then a second loop formed that retains the plant stem. They work by wrapping around the rod and then putting tge free end of the tie through a narrow slot in the tie. The serrated edges stop the tie from pulling out. The free end can be pulled to tighten the tie at the height required. The free end of the tie is then looped back on itself into a second slot where the serrations along the free end catch, which creates the loop that hold the plant stem. I found that on occasions the strength of the material the tie is made from is not sufficient to get the tie to hold to the pole. Rather than the serrations being held firm in the slot it the slot distorts and the tie pulls out. This has happened to about half of ties I have used. However they do work if all you want to do is form a single adjustable loop.
