I am a modeler and am recreating a specific model railroad passenger car. This requires the precision removal of numerous cast on styrene ribs, weld lines, and details. Using Optivisors to see the fine detail, I found that these work amazingly well - much better than I expected. Yes. it's a simple tool, but of fine quality and in a very small size, that allows me to do some very detailed work very cleanly. The design encourages easy control and a clean job.

Comes amazingly sharp and square directly from the company. No prep work needed before use. Comfortable grip no sharp edges. You couldnt spend less money for a better product. It is exactly what you get in the picture.I do wish it were about an inch longer but aside from that it's great.

Don't let the simple and cheap handle fool you. The blade is precision ground and razor sharp. Most importantly, the excellent temper ensures that the blade stays sharp despite extensive use. This tool is a joy to use.

I bought this for 1 use; inletting violin rib lining into corner blocks. I didn’t want to spend $75-100 on a tool used 2-3 times a year so I took a chance on this item and was pleasantly surprised. The quality is good and the tool came sharp and ready to use. It’s only 1.5mm but it has a nice concavity on the back side. I expect it sill last many lifetimes. Great value for the money.

Although inexpensive the tool works well. Sharp when it was received.
