Not for very beginners
First, I really love the projects in this book. I appreciate that the author gives weights for each bit of fiber.I’m very happy with my purchase, but I do want to say that I have a bit of experience with the medium. So when the directions say to “make ears according to the template,” I can do that.As a friend of mine noted, it drove her a bit crazy as a beginner to have general instructions like that.

Excellent book for beginners and more advanced felters
I love this book. It shows pictures of all the animals in the book and then gives step by step instructions with pattern sizes and tips to make each one. Felting takes time an patience, trial and error, but this book sure made my adventure into the art of felting a fun experience. I would love to have more books by this author. I have several felting books and this one is the best by far.

It has step by step instructions. It also has diagrams of actual sizes so you know your proportions are correct.

Great resource for beginners!
What a great resource! Very detailed instructions with photos! The book has projects for beginners that look achievable.

The process pictures are very small and in poor quality.Very disappointed with this book.

Body part gram weights are pretty much all wrong.
Who puts a 5-gram head on a 3-gram body? This happens a LOT in the instructions and has wasted a lot of time and wool

Good beginners felting book. Straight forward directions easy to follow.
A well written easy to understand guide. Nice pictures. Gives you many projects to keep you interested.

Needle felted book
I jsut received this today and am very impressed. Lots of things to try with detailed description. Nice colored pages. Great book

Definitely loveable
One star off because this is not a book for beginners. The animals are adorable, but are for advanced needle felters. I'm working my way up to them.

J’adore ce livre car il contient des projets très diversifiés. Il y en a pour tous les goûts. De mignons petits animaux jusqu’aux ramasse-tout.. Les instructions semblent très claires .Je recommande .
