Click Kick is an acoustic transmitter to achieve the click attack sound for your kick drum

I installed my Click-kick today. Very easy to install. Initially, with the first few hits, it was rattly, and cheap plastic sounding. HOWEVER, when played in the context of the rest of my kit... awesome! I'm only a rock player (not heavy metal nor a double bass wizard,) but it worked beautifully REGARDLESS of my style. I found myself addicted within the first 5min. It probably wouldn't be suitable for a low volume situation, but then again, we're talking about THE DRUMS. If a quite song should arise, it's incredibly simple just to bend over and remove the membrane. I am however disappointed that the membranes are a bit curled once removed from their original packaging (which is the reason for the rattling.) Perhaps the manufacturer will be able to improve upon this. But, all in all, I give it 5STARs.

I used this system for the first time at practice yesterday with my metal band and it was immense. I will be honest, at first I was a little touchy about it because the membranes can rattle together a little when just playing by yourself. When you play with a group and all the sound mixes, the rattle vanishes and all your left with is what sounds like an automatic riffle. For the money, it might be the best mod ive ever come across and I highly recommend this to anyone who plays heavy hardcore music.

I absolutely love the way this thing make my bass drum sound. It's as close as your gonna get to a trigger sound without actually using triggers. I've waited over three months for this to become available and it took twice as long to get here than Amazon predicted. I've only had it 2 days and played for maybe 3 hours and I've destroyed all of the membranes (using a plastic beater). I wish tagliaf sold just the membranes because I'm not paying another $20 and waiting 4 more weeks just to be able to play them for a few hours. I recommend just buying a click patch for your bass drum.

Sound terrific to the player (don't really have any kind projection to speak of, would have to mic the batter head for others to pick it up). Is not very sturdy. Went though them in one sitting. The stick on retainer clips do not stay on. Great idea but the implementation is lacking.

This product works amazingly well. as soon as I got it in the mail I immediately set it up on my kick drum and did some test recordings in my home studio and it added a ton of attack to the kick drum mix. Highly recommend this for anyone with a home studio that records live drums.
