I live in a no ventilation (windowless)-in law unit in San Francisco where it’s always foggy if not humid. My clothes, towel and my sheets always felt damp, cold and sticky. Since getting the dehumidifier, I’ve felt and noticed a big difference. It also helped eliminate the odor of the paint in my room. I thought it was going to be big and bulky but it’s perfect for the size of my room. The only thing people might consider before buying this is the light indicator. It could be a bit too bright for people who have problems sleeping with any kind of lights on, you can either turn it around or cover it at night. I, so far have not had any problems with it. If anything, it’s a nice little night light for when I have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Another thing I’ve noticed, is that my asthma, sinus and allergy problems has dramatically decreased since I started using the dehumidifier. I used to wake up with really bad sinus headaches that lasts for days and I haven’t had it since I started using the dehumidifier.

This machine is quieter than my fish tank filter! It’s very user friendly — self explanatory, really. The reservoir is really big. I ran the dehumidifier in my closet to help protect my clothes for three hours and got a quarter cup of water out of the air in 29% humidity outside my home (I leave the windows open).I was especially impressed with the packaging and very much appreciated the handle on the box to make it easier to carry from the mail lockers, or in store, if that is where you will purchase it. It’s nicely packaged with no unnecessary space or material.I wish it came in different colors, or at least black to hide in the closet and blend in with our home better. I did love the blue light color but it was a bit big to indicate that the machine is running. It will light up the inside of your closet and bleed through any cracks at night.I highly recommend for someone that needs something like this in their closets. You may need an extension cord if you have a power outlet 5 feet away from the area you are trying to place the machine.

I live in a small apartment where the humidity has been quite high recently. I got this to put near my leopard gecko's tank to try and keep her humidity at a safe level. It doesn't really seem to pull much moisture and it really didn't touch her humidity. Maybe it will work in an even smaller space (might try it in our bathroom), but I ended up purchasing a larger dehumidifier. I hate that I spend the money on this though.

This dehumidifier seems to be doing what it should- I am surprised at how often I have to empty it . I have one in my clothes closet which is near to my bathroom and the other in my guest room. I have been using damprid hanging and they work fine but are just expensive and needs replacing monthly. This is much more economical.This is a neat, compact size, quiet and I don’t have to worry if it falls over and the water spills since it won’t damage the floor, carpet or anything else it come into contact silty like the damprid crystals.

Compared to two other brands, both of which are ±the same size and price, this brand didn't produce the same amount of water accumulation each day (in the same location). It's as quiet as the others, and it uses basically the same amount of energy. However, the bottom line for any dehumidifier is the amount of water it extracts and, on that basis, there are other brands that, in my opinion, are better options. It's not garbage, though, and that's the reason for the three (and not fewer) stars.

Put this into a small bathroom and it helped to reduce the humidity.

1st review: This pulls so much moisture out of the room. It's incredible. Really cools things off during a hot, muggy summer. 2nd Review: It was so easy to empty and did a great job. But it stopped working after six months, so I would not recommend. I bought two different brands at the same time. The other one is still working fine. It does the job also, but is more of a pain to empty. I'm so sad.

I bought 2 dehumidifiers - one for my bathroom and one for my bedroom. The bathroom doesn’t have ventilation and after hot showers the moisture just sits in there. Setup is a breeze & I ran it for almost 3 days straight and the picture above is the result. Very impressed! The nose isn’t loud or disturbing & it definitely got the job done in a short amount of time.I’ll be running it after showers from now on since it seems I’ve gotten all the previous moisture captured!
