Helly Hansen Men's Roam 2.5 Layer Waterproof Jacket

Today has been the first chance I have had to try this jacket in the rain , I took the dog out this morning for a two hour walk in the rain and I had to return home as the jacket failed to keep out the rain. As it was a cool morning I put on two layers a vest and a light fleece thinking that was ok nice and warm and dry, the first water to get in was on my shoulders then it spread down the back of the jacket it was not long before my arms started to get wet. At this point I headed for home. By the time I got home I was soaked to the skin- very dissapointed with this I thought I had bought a good quality product. I bought this jacket to go hiking in , I would be carrying a backpack!!!!. It could not keep me dry dog walking. total failure , complete wast of money.

Simply not worth 70 pounds of your money. This is a £40 jacket. Light as rizla and offers minimal water resistance.

Great lightweight jacket, if you're using in the winter, you definitely want a couple of layers underneath. But this is fantastic to roll up and stash in your bag/car just in case. And it is button up (over zip) instead of velcro, ehich is great.
