Dreamy. Fairytale. Feels like it’s made from molasses.
I just received this book last week. I read the first story, and then I read it out loud to my husband.I closed the book. I can’t stop thinking about that story. It’s like trying to decipher a dream; the imagery is so vivid and surreal. After a week, I can only say that the story I read was simply amazing.I want to digest it slowly, so I’ll try another story tomorrow.

Dreams dreamt by our dreams while we’re awake...
This is one of those books that’s so unusual and special, I don’t want to say much at all about it for fear of setting any expectations or unintentionally breaking the spell it so beautifully casts over its reader. Suffice it to say, we should all be so lucky as to have a friend who sometimes simply sends you a photo of a book and says, “THIS. ONE.” And that’s all the encouragement you need. The stories in Wild Milk read like the dreams dreamt by our dreams while we’re awake. That might be one of the least elegant sentences I’ve ever written, but I stand by it. THIS. ONE.

Surprising and Loose
I really enjoyed reading this book. It's my first time reading something by Sabrina Orah Mark, but I'll definitely go check out her works after reading this. The words are a wonderful hybrid of prose and poem, a nature that my own writing holds and that I love. The words flow wonderfully, and getting through this book was fast and easy. The tone of the speaker in each of the pieces was not authoritative; each lacked control, and that came through implicitly (the best kind of way). This book is great, and anyone would be fortunate to read it!

Wonderful weird short stories
You have to like short stories, and you have to like strange and beautiful prose that sort of turns your brain inside out until you look up and wonder if you are, in fact, high on something, and you have to like not being coddled to with easy solutions to intractable problems. Or, if you don't like any of that, you have to like to laugh while feeling joy and also horror in equal measure at the same time. And who doesn't?

dreamy
These stories combine gorgeous language with dream logic and surreality, and the result is poignant, moving, and deeply human. Stunning book.

Great read
Felt like a song for me. I liked the interconnectedness. I was assigned this for class and didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did.

Like dreams, but weirder
At first, I was startled. What was this? It wasn't at all what I'd been expecting, but rather like falling into the rabbit hole of Wonderland. Or as if I were half-awake, liminal, as the passenger next to me were telling me prophetic dreams she'd had. I found myself unable to read more than a few pages without poetry spilling out of me as if her words were a fountain and my cup was too shallow to hold the language before I could keep going. An egg race between myself and her work. I'm glad I bought it as I plan to re-read it until it falls apart.

Surreal and profound
Excellent, experimental fiction that is as surreal as it is funny as it is heartbreaking as it is profound as it is deadly serious. I saw someone post about it on Twitter and bought the book on a whim. Would recommend!
