When pressed, vanilla beans actually do not shed much color at all. It is naturally clear. We have grown so accustomed to the brown color from imitation vanilla that almost every vanilla manufacturer adds caramel coloring (made from molasses) to darken their vanilla. We keep the ingredients to our clear vanilla simple. Taste is a difficult thing to describe over the Internet but we can promise that you'll be amazed! Sanilli Sabores works endlessly to make sure our Vanilla comes from the purest Vanilla Orchids in the Caribbean, where the sun shines on our crops 365 days a year. It's a difficult task to grow, cultivate and to produce our Vanilla in the old family style, but we have found it is worth it! Most of the products sold throughout the United States are chemical derivatives of the vanilla scent. Sanilli Sabores does NOT use any foreign chemicals in our our Caribbean Vanilla. The only Vanilla more pure than this is the actual Vanilla Bean.

Just what i needed!
Wonderful! This is a little different than other vanillas but exactly what i was looking for. Not very easy to find esp without added chemicals & often used in latin/carribean desserts so in my opinion it is a hit! I bake all the time for home & sale & whenever i make flan, pasteles etc i use this vanilla & all that's left are crumbs & requests for more! I'm thrilled with this sweet & wonderful product.

Tastes like purfume in water!
I have used and really enjoyed clear vanilla in the past, but this tastes like perfume and leaves a lingering aftertaste that cannot be right.It seems to be fragrance in water with no alcohol content; but we can not be sure what is in it because there is no ingredients list.The label claims that this Carlos Imperio vanilla was made from organic vanilla beans, but if that is the case, we suspect that nothing else usedin the product IS organic. We love vanilla and enjoy the various types of vanilla, but this is awful!I would not buy this again.

Tastes good
Excellent for flavoring white icing! Bottle is a little difficult to dispense from, but I just borrow my cap from a McCormick extract bottle & easily pour into my measuring spoons.
