Finally a thumbs up
I have tried nearly every brand of Stroopwafle for my son when he returned from Australia raving about these tasty treats that came with his tea or coffee at every cafe. Finally this is the one that got the 2 thumbs up of goodness. Save yourself time and money and try this brand first. See if you don't agree.

Stroop Enthusiast Approved!
I purchased these as a birthday gift for my boyfriend who is a "stroop" enthusiast. Something about the combination of caramel and waffle is just SO addicting!I was a bit nervous to but him a different brand than his usual, but I am so happy to say he was THRILLED!These are a bit more expensive than the ones we normally buy, but they are very obviously higher quality. They taste, smell, and even look much more indulgent. Even the texture is richer.Definitely will purchase again!

Self confessed non cinnamon lover
For me personally these had too much cinnamon and I'm just not a fan of the spice, I appreciate that these are more traditional though so others would really enjoy the flavor, I do prefer the Daels stroops but these are still good in their own right.

Expired!!! DON'T BUY!
I was so excited only to be disappointed. It smelled funny and the packaging came in poor condition. When I tried to taste it, I found out that it was expired! I got this on May 2 so it has been expired by 2 months. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but I ended up having a terrible stomach ache after. It's just not worth your money and for so little, you'd be better off purchasing other brands like Belgian Boys or Daelmans.

Surprisingly good authentic stroopwafels
I moved to Texas three years ago (am dutch) and have missed stroopwafels ever since: there's just no substitute here in the states. Was really glad to see I could get them off of amazon but was a bit skeptical about the taste: stroopwafels are a very distinct type of cookie that somehow only the dutch know how to make. I was honestly blown away: these taste just like the stroopwafels my grandma used to make (although I still prefer them hot off the waffle iron, one can dream ;))

Didn't satisfy my Dutch husband so the quest for authentic stroopwafels continues
My husband grew up in Holland and has a very narrow idea of what a stroopwafel should taste like. He says they are made with treacle and not caramel, and one should be able to taste the butter. These did not meet his standards, and he was confused with the use of cinnamon, but said they made them taste better than the cardboard coasters they try to pass off as stroopwafel in Costco. Now he's convinced that the only good ones are available through Van Der Veen's.

Great authentic stroopwafels
These stroopwafels are great! I'm Dutch, it's hard to find authentic Dutch stroopwafels, and these hit the mark right on. Apparently, these stroopwafels are based on an authentic Dutch recipe and it shows, but they're made right here in the US so you don't have to pay ridiculous import prices (and us Dutch like a good deal).Would buy again! My son asks for them all the time.

Sooooo good!!
I cant do my annual visit to the Netherlands (thanks Covid) and am missing the food so much! These are delicious and I’ve eaten the entire box in literally 4 days... I highly encourage purchasing a pair of stretch pants if you’re purchasing a large quantity for just yourself... They’re addictive! ;)
