Ink Fixx
When I got my first tattoo, I had ordered a tub of TattooJohnny's "healing salve", because from the description and ingredients, it sounded like it would be good. No artificial colors, or scents. Plenty of good stuff for your skin. And most importantly, no ingredients that are detrimental to tattoo healing, like lanolin. I also got a Tattoo Goo kit. When I received the TattooJohnny "healing salve", it turned out to be Ink Fixx. All they did was slap their own label over the top, The bottom still contained the ingredients label with the Ink Fixx logo.I initially tried the Tattoo Goo lotion. And I did not care for the results. It seemed thin, and dried very quickly. So I switched to the Ink Fixx. Being a salve rather than a lotion, it sticks much better, and does not evaporate. Putting a thin layer of this stuff on, I know it's going to be on my skin, protecting my tattoo as it heals. Not wondering if I should reapply it more often, like with the Tattoo Goo lotion. The irony is that Ink Fixx is a Tattoo Goo product. They actually own and produce the line.I've continued using Ink Fixx for touchups, and will be using it for all my future tattoos. The price on Amazon is cheaper than what TattooJohnny charges, and I didn't have to pay shipping, which was so high for such a small product, it would double the cost, so I'd normally order two to justify it.The product does have what I'd describe as a "soy smell." It contains no added scents, so it smells like its ingredients. It's kind of an oily smell, it doesn't bother me, but I've seen other people that it did bother.UPDATE: I've since received a new container of Ink Fixx, and unlike the small plastic jars I've gotten before, the packaging has been changed to a metal clamshell-like container with two halves. The product itself has also changed. The label says "New formula", and the consistency is less like wax and more like a cream. There is absolutely no smell now.The packaging proved difficult to open after I'd opened it once to see the product, then closed it. The heat from my hands holding the container for just a short time started liquifying the product, and a tiny amount leaked out as I closed it (it was perfectly clear.) Upon trying to reopen the tin to use it, the slippery sides of the container made it hard to open.

Not what it seems!
I love ink fixx, but there are now 2 different after care products. I didn't know this when I purchased this product. It is not what it shows in the picture. After finding this out once I receive the product, it has caused me to blister. I also had to purchase the correct ink Fixx from another site... black lid is the original, and it's not what I received.

Definitely 5 star
After using several different lotions and oils and not being very happy and decided to give INK FIXX a try, after seeing the 5 star ratings...I wanted to wait before writing this review, but after 10 days of my latest tattoo, I'm extremely happy and I cannot say enough about this product. My tattoo is 100% heal and it looks unbelievable.. I've never experienced that before!! There was always little pieces of ink that would come out awhile using other products but this one, none!! Unlike the direction recommends, I was just using twice a day (morning and evening) as recommended by my tattoo artist.. my tattoo was moist and fresh all day!! I didn't have to worry about being too dry or too thick that it wouldn't breath.. It was perfect!! Apply a small amount, spread out really well and you'll be absolutely amazed!!Will never use another product for my tattoos!!

They have changed the formula and it's nothing like it used to be
Do NOT use this product. They have changed the formula and it's nothing like it used to be. It causes my last tattoo to get really infected, and my artist said he'd already stopped selling it at his shop. He's had nothing but complaints about it. It's very bad for your tattoo!!!

Three Stars
Wish it was in a squeeze tube to assure no cross contamination.

Great Buy
The price is a little high, but when you need the product in a flash, this is the place to buy from. They ship out right away, and as always Ink Fixx is an amazing product. If applied 4-5 times daily, your tattoo will not crack, scab, peal or lose any color. I've used it on my last 4 tattoos. I'd buy two, just in case!

Stainless
I haven been getting tattoos since 1999. I put this on the day after I get ink and use it for about three days. The color in my ink stays nice and bright through the healing process and doesn't stain! That's a huge plus in the tattoo culture.
