Great music for the soundtrack junkie!
The Arkham Origins soundtrack by Christopher Drake is just simply great stuff for a soundtrack junkie. My preferred music interest has always been soundtrack music and I especially enjoy soundtracks for superhero movies and video games. The action music and themes that can be typically found in these scores are always fun to listen to. Although there has been some disappointing ones out there, this is certainly not one of those. There are some great themes here and it is music that fills and completes the world of the Dark Knight. It simply sounds like Batman and quite honestly it sounds like a Batman movie...not just a video game. The production value that went into the creation of this score was not held back because it is a video game. In fact, video game scores for games like this get the same treatment as a big budget movie. I love how Christopher Drake has incorporated traditional Christmas music into some of the themes in the score, especially track 12, "The Joker's Theme". Drake is able to give a happy holiday tune and give it a sinister undertone that really captures the character in a unique way. He does this throughout the soundtrack and it happens to be my favorite Batman (video game) soundtrack of the two that I own. I also have Nick Arundel's "Arkham City", which is also very good, but overall this one is better in my opinion. I don't have "Arkham Asylum" yet but plan on getting that one eventually.Batman fans and those that enjoy soundtracks will not be disappointed with this score. It is a great soundtrack and I highly recommend. I also need to commend Amazon for their CDs made on demand. I happen to like owning physical CDs rather than just having digital copies. Amazon does a great job with the printing and packaging for these on demand CDs. They come with the artwork and liner notes that you would expect if you were buying it at the store. The CDs themselves sound great and you won't be disappointed with their quality.

Awesome OST for my Batman music collections
I am a big fan of the soundtrack for "Batman: Arkham Origins". I think it is a memorable score that surpasses the high bar set by "Arkham City".The Christmas season has come to Gotham - and with over an hour of awesome video game music across 30 tracks, we're all the recipients of this wonderful musical gift. Among the most memorable tracks on the album are two holiday-themed cues - "The Night Before Christmas" and "Carol of the Bells". The holiday music incorporated into the score is one major reason why this soundtrack stands out.Of course, this is a video game about the dark knight, so there's plenty of dark and brooding music. The best game soundtracks enhance the player's experience by setting the appropriate mood, and the music for the "Arkham" series has always excelled at this.Composer Christopher Drake, who previously scored many of the Batman animated movies, has delivered what I consider to be his best album yet and the finest musical experience of the video game franchise.Love it and entertaining to listen when im reading comics.FAVORITE TRACKS[1] Arkham Origins Main Titles[2] The Night Before Christmas[12] Carol of the Bells (Joker's Theme)

No falter.
Despite the game not exactly living up to Rocksteady standards, I don't think the score suffers from the same issue. It's composed by Christopher Drake, so there is some positive track record and he does not disappoint. The Christmas atmosphere is evident in multiple tracks, such as "Winter Comes To Gotham," the inclusion of the "Thieving Magpie" was a welcome addition. The tension was also delivered with those tracks dedicated to copperhead. Fans of the Arkham series should see into to it.

This is what a Batman score should be!
The Batman: Arkham Origins Original Video Game Score by Christopher Drake should be your definitive "go-to" for Batman orchestral music. I can't say enough about this score!! Drake gives an original take on various themes throughout the past 25 years of scored music from Batman films, TV shows, and video games (especially the Arkham series, of course), and creates a fresh, dark soundtrack to accompany the Arkham Origins game perfectly. Obviously, tracks 1, 31 and 32 are instant favorites, having the main theme of Arkham Origins introduced, reprised and with some nice variations. The use of the Carol of the Bells is a nice touch to the feel of this Batman game set during Christmas Eve. It also harkens back to the Batman Returns movie score which had variations of this theme as well.Speaking of the Tim Burton Batman movies, I hear some of the themes from the scores of those movies (mainly the first one) masterfully intertwined into the main Arkham Origin themes. There are also some themes that are meshed in from The Dark Knight trilogy. I like the rich, dark feel Drake portrays when he meshes his original score with these themes. It's like every second of this score emotionally connects you to the game... none of it feels forced or out of place, and it drives the story and the action flawlessly. Also, if you listen closely to # 13) G.C.P.D., you might hear some Bourne-esque type themes, which I thought added an interesting flare to the piece. This is one of the rare scores that I can listen to in its entirety. Drake has produced the most epic Batman score ever, and no one's score collection would be complete if they didn't immediately purchase this one. One listen and you'll know... :)Some of my favorite tracks are: 1) Arkham Origins Main Titles; 7) Assassins; 10) Deathstroke; 12) Carol of the Bells (Joker's Theme); 13) G.C.P.D.; 20) Gotham City Royal Hotel; 25) Firefly; 27) Allies; 30) Shadow of the Bat; 31) Arkham Origins End Titles; and 32) Arkham Origins Suite.

Good Soundtrack.
As a gamer and a fan of music I like buying these videogame soundtracks cause videogame composers do great work and they should be appreciated more. I also liked alot of the music in the Arkahm Aslylum games so having this is a nice and convenient way to listen to the soundtrack without having to pull up YouTube. But let's get down to the actual reason I bought this CD, I've got an Arkham Origins steelbook case with two disc slots built into it, I simply wanted to fill in the extra slot. Yep, I spent 16 bucks for that. Good soundtrack though, composed by Christopher Drake, he also did the soundtrack for both the Batman The Dark Knight Returns DC animated films, so you know he's a talented guy.
