Return window is 30 days. Used successfully for 34 days. 35 days after delivery, we powered it on and got an “E” error. Unplugged and re-plugged it in a few times without any change.Update: After initially and repeatedly telling me "the return window is 30 days, even for defective products," Amazon (not the manufacturer or seller) eventually issued a full refund.I will still be choosing a different manufacturer or model when buying the replacement.

Bought this in February. Use only for a few hours at night. I do not leave on for over night or a long time. This BURNED holes in the blanket and my sheets! See pics. I want a refund.

This is an amazing blanket. It's a good size, so you don't have to worry about being too tall for it unless you're at least 6'5". The 10 hour kill switch is also great to have since most blankets turn off after only 8 hours and it's never fun to wake up freezing cold to turn it back on since you let it warm up for a while before going to bed. With 10 hours, that's not an issue at all. On particularly cold nights, I would recommend turning on at the max level for about 30 minutes before going to bed, then adjusting once you're in. You'll thank me later.

Update - upgraded to FOUR STARS!When one controller failed, I wrote a review that was highly negative. Once I stopped grumbling and actually contacted Biddeford's Customer Service, I found them to be absolutely among the best ever! They got my info and immediately sent me a new controller, and now both sides are back to working perfectly! Thanks, Biddeford!I took off one star for the initial failure, but would still recommend this product!This was far and away the best heated blanket I have ever purchased - until last night. One controller would not turn on, therefore no heat on that side! There is a small orange LED dot that normally glows when the controller is turned off. The dot on the now-defective controller is now quite dim, noticeably dimmer than the other controller. Pressing the "ON" button now does nothing. I have checked to be sure everything is plugged in properly (it is), but still nothing.This was purchased in Feb 2018, and is already dead in Sep 2018! I can't find any way to contact the manufacturer, as I can't locate the paperwork that came with the blanket.So sad to find something that SEEMS to be perfect, only to have it fail in a very short time!UPDATE!!!I was able to contact Biddeford and they are sending me a new controller - I have already upgraded my original review to 3 stars due to the excellent customer service. I will upgrade it again if everything works again with the new controller! Fingers crossed...

I was looking for a replacement electric blanket with the same controls as the one that I had. Love it! This has 10 heat settings, while most electric blankets have 6. The one that I had previously lasted seven years, so I hope this one will as well. These are really nice quality blankets. Unfortunately, it works so well I now have to share the bed with the cat, as she won't sleep anywhere else!

I have it on lowest setting 24/7, 6 months out of the year, for last 4 years and so far, no problems, no wearing out, or uneven heating, or quitting after a few uses, like SOME other brands, ahem, Sunbeam..(disgrace!) I place the blanket on the lowest setting and put it between 2 thin 100% cotton blankets, and I sleep on top of all three. It keeps my old body warm and cozy, not overly warm. Be sure where the blanket plugs in at one end, that the connection lays naturally flat or if it hangs over the bed, make sure all of the connection hangs over, so again, the connection stays nice and flat, unstressed, not bent unnaturally, and free of weight or entanglement. Stress at the connection point is main reason for safety or functioning issues.

This blanket is generous in size, but not too big. Fits the king bed great, good length on sides too. I keep it on 1 or 2 because it heats so well. My queen sized one (Biddeford too) is heated at 4 or 5. Love both. Much better than other brands. Queen is one year old, no problems so far.

I bought the full size, it stopped working after 2 days.I bought a 2nd one that stopped working after 11 months. Don't make my mistake, go with a different brand.
