This antenna picks up far more stations than I expected, and very clear. What i didn't expect or really think about is the ability to rotate is basically useless. You have no way of knowing where its going. You may as well rotate the pole until you get the best results and leave it. If you want to use it on two sets, you have to use the box as a splitter, which means running a second cable. Which makes sense, just another thing I never thought of ahead of time, merely stating it for others. Still a very good antenna for reception, especially considering I am in a very secluded area, quite a distance from transmitters. For the money, I would recommend it, just don't get too excited about the rotation.

Works Great
I bought this a while back because our other antenna wasn't picking up one channel we really wanted. We live about 2 hours from a major city but the closest tower is about 20 miles away. I am also very horrible at construction of things. I got the package and was able to get it put together very quickly, though you need to be really careful with the metal parts, the bend rather easily. By the end of the day I had it installed and picking up not just the one channel we were hoping to add, but several others as well. The only complaint I have is that the remote to turn the antenna has only one button, so it can be difficult to get it adjusted due to having to press a couple times to get to swing the right direction. I've heard they no longer make this model but will soon release a new one, I recommend this one and assume the next will be as good if not better.

Try not to sneeze while you are assembling the antenna less you break it!
Unless you plan mounting the TV on the roof replace the underpowered 'amplifier'. I had to buy a separate inline power booster to get any signal from this product. And try not to sneeze while you are assembling the antenna less you break it! Yes, it is that flimsy!!! I ended up tying the antenna to keep it from moving in any direction. Why? because the base which is suppose to turn the antenna by remote control is so weak that any wind will knock it out of place. I kept it for two reasons: yes, I broke the basket attempting to assemble it, and once I got on the roof - and went through the expense of tying in place, it was more reasonable to 'live with it' than to attempt returning it and go through another ordeal. Hey, but once you add the new amplifier - it works.... sorta.

Best HDTV antenna ever
I got sick of paying for cable 4 years ago can't watch 150 stations of which almost all of them show you junk nobody really cares about and the marketing of which you have to pay to watch was just driving me out of my mind. I tried at least four different kinds of HDTV antennas but could not pick up CBS out of Cleveland Ohio. I live right on the fringe of their signal on the shores of lake Erie east of Cleveland, I tried the Orca stealth last year and it worked great! It got beat up bad over last winter so I looked to purchase another and found this one that claimed to pick up hi-v signals of which I did not even know CBS was using now I am getting a crystal clear signal I really can't believe how great the reception is now. Would recommend this product very highly! It really works.

Compact, light and works great!
I was hesitant to get this antenna since the body was made of plastic but I've found that the important items are made of aluminum/metal where it counts.I have it mounted in my attic and the amp half way between the antenna and TV.It boosts the signal enough that I now get all HD channels I couldn't before.I had the amp right at the TV at first and the signal was too degraded that amplification didn't help.Antenna is about about 120 feet away from the TV.Easy to assemble and it comes with an amp!If you are mounting indoors and need a pole, your standard size broom type pole will work.A 2ft 4x4 and 2, 2ft 2x4 to stabilize it could be used for a stand for the pole.Bye, bye cable. All Weather Outdoor Digital HD Antenna Impulse
It does have problems when Snow falls on it. The signal can not penetrate to the receiver without the signal breaking up on the TV screen. The elements are the right size. The description of the placement of the screws and bolts are inadequate the interior connections are a little weak. The assembly diagrams needed time to decipher and follow. I had an electrical engineer give me some guidance for placement for good reception. after all that the antenna works fine. Thanks S Bogardus

Ok antenna, bad rotor.
The antenna worked reasonable well as an antenna. The rotor sucked! Unless you could see the antenna for visual positioning you could not get it to where it was needed. There was no way to disable the rotor and just aim it in the direction it was needed. I ended up using an old Yagi antenna and aimed it in the direction of the majority of the local stations. I plan to add another fixed location antenna in the future.

DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS ANTENNA
This Antenna would not make contact for over 40 Miles in flat open country,It has to many plastic parts,I striped two bolts by just hand tight while putting it together so that voids the so called three year warranty , It had missing parts,I called the manufacture and got a recording that they would return my call in twenty four hours, that did not happen,so I guess i will just stand the loss and chalk it up to another bad experience.
