Quite simply it won't fit (lock out) onto a large canister. It is the wrong size... you can get only 2 of 3 legs to lock out..
Quite simply it won't fit (lock out) onto a large canister. It is the wrong size... you can get 2 of the three legs to lock on but the 3rd simply will not...it is very close but will not stay locked in, and will pop out if forced. As this is the stands main criterion that is why is only gets 3 stars. The cannisters themselves are very uniform in size so to not be able to lock in place on larger cannisters is indeed puzzling. it will however work on small canisters and does provide some stability on a large canister. So 3 stars.. maybe you can file the plastic out and make it work? I dunno. Hope this helps.

Great For Most Cooking Systems, but Slightly Too Big for the Jetboil Flash Cooking System Container.
I was using this with the very popular, green-handled, backpacking cook set very popular here on Amazon, and it worked wonderfully.I upgraded to a Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System and this item is just slightly too big to fit inside the "pot" for storage. The Jetboil Flash comes with a folding, canister stabilizer, so this one will stick with the old cook set and be passed on to my daughter! I really liked how the legs "clicked in" on this one vs. the Jetboil version, so I would have stuck with this one if it was just a little smaller and fit in the Jetboil container, for storage.

Decent product, has trouble with coleman canisters
Holds my fuel cans, just not as solidly as I would like. The feet swing out sideways to lock onto the bottom of the fuel canister, but on my coleman cans it is difficult to snap them on properly, and if you apply any downward pressure the legs want to come unlocked and pop off. Just know you have to be cautious with the coleman canisters, but it seems to do a decent job of stabilizing as long as you don't press directly downward.

Butane/propane fuel canister stabilizer
received the stand and immediately checked fit on a butane/propane fuel can. Fit was tight, but held the fuel can steady. Appears 2 different slots would also hold a smaller diameter can. Leg length adds stability to the fuel can when a hiking pot or small fry pan is used on a pocket sized burner head. Mostly plastic parts, hope it holds up to an actual test while camping/hiking for 2 weeks.

I already tried it out on the frozen lake and works great on the ice
Unfortunately this did not fit inside my toaks 750ml titanium pot with the fuel can. But I had a larger stuff sack so it still is all in one bag. I already tried it out on the frozen lake and works great on the ice.

A Bit Flimsy
It is made of plastic and is somewhat flimsy. It does not work with butane canisters and collapses when pushed down. It works ok with isobutane canisters

Good product.
I used this during a 2 week long trip to the boundary Waters. Item worked well. It gave additional stability, is light weight, and seems reasonably well built.
