Works to make a lamp, my husband put it together, he said the instructions were horrible. I will say it def needs the metal lamp rod and bolts to make the lamp secure while it sets on the base and has the vase cap. Lamp works.

It fit snugly into a mannequin leg to create a leg lamp of my own style lol easy to install and easily hidden

Directions were easy to follow but while rocking back and forth for it to snap together as per directions the pice bent and then it was crooked. Was able to straighten it out. Don’t know yet if it will last with a dent in it.

I purchased two lamps when I was in Germany in the early 70's. This was a replacement because the original no longer worked. Very easy to install.

All you need is there to repair a lamp. Great instead of buying a new one repair.
