Vampires Drink Blood Fruit Punch Flavor Energy Potion (Set of 3)

The packaging is very convincing from my experience. I love sweet things so for me it was delicious. I didn't bother heating or refrigerating it before consumption. I would say the taste is very much like a Fruit Punch/Hawaiian Punch but sweeter and a little thicker/'syrup' like similar to Grenadine in a mixed drink(which makes me wonder how Blood would go as a mixer). If you don't like sweet drinks then this is not for you. As for the experience with friends/in public, several people would ask to make sure that it really wasn't what they thought it was while others would notice it, laugh, and begin conversations about how they heard of the product etc. I actually fooled a couple of friends(one to the point of blanching after I pulled the pouch out of my pocket as an offer :-D) into thinking it was legitimately blood. Some even had a moment of doubt if as to whether or not it was fake because of the 'fingerprints' on the outside of the package. As for an energy drink, granted I have a high metabolism, it gave a small boost but not much(approx. 30-60min.) However, I have had similar experiences with other 'energy drinks' and had the same thing happen so I'm guessing it may just be me. I would recommend it to anyone for at least the novelty of it if not a fun(and sometimes startling) drinking experience. Also, if you have any vampire fans(or just horror/occult/etc.) this would be an excellent gift. Hope this has helped you in your decision to purchase.

I was hesitant about trying this product based on the previous reviews. They all ways said it looks great, but doesn't taste as good. I honestly have to wonder if something is wrong with their taste buds. I tried Blood Potion for myself and I LOVED it. I even tried it both ways it lists on the bag and found I actually liked it better warm. It is a tad too pricey, but certainly worth it. Keep an open mind and try it for yourself. This is one I'd definitely buy again.

A great, cool product for every bar, and not just on Halloween. Offer a little to the guests to mix with their vodka on ice, and they will freak out!The only improvement would be a nozzle with a stopcock so you can measure out the liquid easier.

I bought this for the novelty of having blood packets in my fridge. I get a kick out of watching other people's reaction. However, that is all this is really good for, novelty.I tried this as a drink and was not pleased. The drink is very thick, which is fine, but the taste is not all that great. The bag boasts that this is all the nutrients of blood without the blood taste. Well, I must disagree. The drink has a fruit flavored hint, but the main thing you taste is the iron. If you have ever bitten into your tongue or cheek, you know what this drink tastes like. Actually, it would probably taste better without the fruity undertones and just tasted like blood.If you are looking for a great novelty or fun gift, this is great. If you want this as an energy drink with taste, skip it.

I do like the design and the "idea" of this. I am going to two different parties this year where I will be a zombie at one and a vampire at another. I like that you can heat it up or cool it down and then pour it in to a goblet or glass. I had to try it out prior to Halloween to see how it tastes. So me personally it does have that iron taste of blood. And the aftertaste is not desirable. I added some Truvia and that made it taste a bit better, it was drinkable. I think it you have a backup drink like a shot of tequila or whiskey or red wine after you drink it that will eliminate the aftertaste. Unless you like the taste of blood. Then you will enjoy it on its own. If you are not a drinker per se maybe a soda or energy drink after?

The taste was much more than what I first anticipated. Blood energy drink did have a kind of after taste that was similar to blood, so all you "Vampire Freaks!" out there, get your "Feed on," because I highly and truthfully recommend you to drink this, so you may gain some control of your bloodlust! Oh, and it does pack a nice "punch" of energy that is.

I used this as a demo for a blood transfusion class I gave. I used it at the beginning of the class to fool them into thinking you could drink whole blood as an alternative to giving it by infussion. Nice prop. Looks very real, including the packaging.
