Clinical Decision Making: Case Studies in Medical-Surgical Nursing (Ankner, Clinical Decision Making)

I bought this book under the assumption that it included the answers (rationales) for the case studies; it does NOT. In order to get the answers, you need to purchase the teacher's edition. The teacher's edition is impossible to find and if you do find it, the seller is asking a crazy price for it. This book is almost useless to me. I wanted to be able to refresh myself since I haven't worked for 2 years and am looking into returning to the workforce.

As a nurse educator, I use these case studies in class and on simulation days. The students enjoy them and find that it helps to reinforce lecture content. The only downside is no answer key!

I would like a refund for this rental, this is not the book I wanted as there is no answer key with it.

This book has good case studies. BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE ANY ANSWERS OR EXPLANATIONS OR RATIONALS. TO GET THE ANSWERS OR RATIONALS YOU HAVE TO BUY THE INSTRUCTORS EDITION WHICH YOU OBVIOUSLY CAN'T GET. DON'T BUY !!! I returned mine for being written all over

I purchased this at the advice of my Med-Surg 1 clinical instructor. Great way to help tie in different variables together. Rationales also included-awesome!

Asks comprehensive questions after the case study is described. What I really like is that the answers to those questions are included, and are comprehensive as well. Great teaching tool.

The format is laid out very well. It is rather easy to read yet quite helpful in understanding the somewhat difficult concepts of basic Med-Surg nursing.
