If you put them into the the shoe for the correct foot you'll find they are much more comfortable....
Ok so I've had these for a few days now... let me start by saying I have a very energetic dog, we walk severel times a day, and probably cover 5 + miles ... ( he also goes to the dog park everyday to run an couple hours ). So I got these the other night ( have worn orthotics before but several years ago...) I got em outta the box, had a look, thought I'd give em a try as is before trying to boil and shape em to my feet... I was not very happy with the fit at first, however after removing them and realizing I'd put the one for the right foot into the left shoe & vice versa and righting the problem I have to say I'm noticing a much more comfortable stride...lol at the end of the day my feet are far less sore. will update when i give em a try in my other shoes I got the men's size 9, I may try a size 10 to see if there is a better fit I have odd feet for a man.***** update review... Ok, I had my boots resoled when I ordered these orthotics, as I wanted to see if there was an improvement in my walk from the wear of my boots(I'm tough of boots and shoes without doubt), after wearing these in my boots for about a month or so, I've noticed a serious improvement. I would normally see alotta wear on the outside corner of my heels, so far I'm not getting that wear pattern which indicates my feet aren't sloping outward when I am walking... loving these*****New update ..... ok so been wearing the crap outta these for a while.... started to notice the old soreness returning... thought I'd give the throw em in boiling water for a few seconds a try ... boiled, let cool a couple hours put em back in my boots and good as new ...

Longevity, wear and tear, not good.
Packaging and arrival, great. Boiling the inserts to fit your shoes and molding them to feet, easy. Comfort and support, excellent. Wear and tear, BAD. One is still in working condition but the other one cracked in the heel within two months. Because it’s past the 30 day guarantee I cannot return them.

Pain gone when you put them on!!!!
I have had plantar fascitus for about 6 months now. Getting so bad I can only walk 1 mile compared to my 10 mile treks on the weekends. It feels just line a bone spur. So I just got the Corefit last night (one day Prime delivery). Put them in the water and fitted them to my socking feet. Had to do it twice because I "over crimped" one side on right foot that has the problem. When done I put them in my tennis shoes (old ones that I didn't mind ripping out foot pad). They felt WONDERFUL.Today I have worn them the whole day. All the pain is gone!!!! Foot still sensitive to all the pain from before, but there is no new sensation of having a spur jabbing into my heel. Only time will tell if this works on a continuing basis. I go to the pediatrist next week for a foot checkup. I am hoping I can rule out getting one of his $350 inserts that take 3 weeks to be delivered. Anyway, I am thrilled at how quickly I can walk without pain.UPDATE: two weeks later. They are just wonderful. Did a several mile hike up steep slope. No problem at all. Ted Cooper

The are AMAZING...Just Can't Believe How Great They Are
A little about my situation. I have two different sized feet. Not a little bit different, a LOT (2-1/2 sizes), so I have to buy 2 pairs of shoes. In addition, one of my feet has a SUPER high arch and here is where the real problem begins. Because of the arch situation, the ball of my foot takes a beating and causes me horrible pain. I've been to a surgeon and decided before trying surgery (upon his recommendation) to go the route of seeing an prosthesis center and having an insert custom made. These cost about $300...and they worked. For the first time in my life I had no pain. But they were $300 and I didn't want to spend that for every pair of shoes. I mean, these were custom fitted to one pair of my shoes and couldn't be moved to others.I was poking around on Amazon recently and ran across these. I read the reviews and decided to give them a try. HOLY WOW...they work! I got a pot of water boiling, pulled up a chair and set about shaping them to my feet. (Incidentally....I bought ONE pair and was able to use for both feet!!! Extra YAY!). A tip that worked for me: form them to your feet, paying special attention to the arches. Let them set up a little bit but while they are still only slightly moldable, put them on the floor and place your foot on them. This helps you see where you may need to "flatten" them out under the ball of your foot, etc. Then, let them cool. Honestly, it took a few tries to get them the way I needed but I can say that they are EVERY bit as comfortable as my $300 inserts.Once cooled, I pulled the current inserts out of my shoes, placed these under, and then replaced the stock inserts on top. Some people may not need to do this, but it's what worked best or me.Because of Orthotics, I'm able to wear my running shoes literally all day now. This is truly astonishing to me as I usually couldn't tolerate them for more than an hour or two. Now I put them on and don't take them off until the end of the day.My feet are more comfortable with my shoes and inserts than without! So, from the bottom of my heart, Corefit...thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)

Cheap Materials and Poor Design....
This product does not last. They work for a while and they continue to fail. I have purchased 3 of these, one being the wrong size. The two that are the correct size are failing. I have to boil them once a day now, it used to be about once a week, then twice a week. I cannot believe doctors actually recommend these. It is a great concept, poor design and cheap materials. Amazon, you should not allow this seller to peddle their garbage product. Corefit, you should be ashamed of yourselves. DO NOT BUY.......
