USED IN SELF DEFENSE SITUATION!
UPDATE! MUST READ:7/2/18 - So last night our home got broken into at 1:00am. We were home unbknownced to the intruder. They open the back slider which set off the alarm, woke me up, and the dogs went to the door to check it out. I grabbed my Glock 21 with the defendTek light on the rail. Hit the switch and cleared the house. This light was there when I needed it. The Intruder ran when the alarm went off, thank goodness, I didnt want to shoot anyone but would have if I needed too. This light didn't fail me. I have tested it at the range and trusted my life to it. It didn't fail me. I know it's cheap but it works and it's very bright! Bright enough to light up the backyard after I made sure they weren't in the house.Works great. Fit perfect on both my CZ P09 and Glock 21. Only thing is the battery life isn't great due to it being so bright but it is rechargable. Still holding up perfect after a few range sessions. Time will tell.

You get what you Pay for
I loved it for the first week it was amazing, plug and play I literally just put it on my Springfield XD40 and it locked into place, well the battery charger is cheap and very flimsy but I didn’t let that bother me the flashlight itself is very bright no dead spots just a nice white bright beam, I thought the battery went bad because it didn’t want to turn or anymore but I luckily own a few fenix flashlights so I always have cr123 battery’s handy and I thought oh bummer my rcr123 battery went dead but at least i can still use my flashlight with my lithium energizer battery’s and I was wrong. Seems the led either burnt out or the flashlight is a dud because now I can’t use it at all, I only waisted 30$ so I’m not that disappointed but you would think paying for something because of positive reviews you would get your money’s worth. I’m not gonna bother to even contact the seller and get an exchange I’m just gonna go with Streamlight you get what you pay for

Glock 19 review
Great light with great programming for the strobe feature. The light is really bright but not too bright that it damages your own vision against white walls. The strobe feature is activated by timing the light off then back on within about 5 seconds, so you don't have to worry about cycling through the strobe to turn on the regular light the next time you need it. It's a little tight against the Glock frame but I imagine it will break in over time if you are constantly talking it on and off. The quick release functions well but it's difficult to attach and remove with the tight fit. The activation switch is in a good location to turn on with your right trigger finger, but you will need your left hand to power it off or switch to strobe. I would recommend this as a bed side flashlight but not for EDC due to it's size and weight. It's not oversized or overweight, but I believe there are better options (at a higher price range) if you're going to carry a flashlight every day.

Solid light at a good price.
Nice light that mounts securely. This is well constructed for the price, All Aluminum construction.I'm not using this as a everyday duty light. I think it will hold up well for casual use or having it on a nightstand gun.It comes with a battery and charger so it's a good value. It looks good on the pistol and the switch is solid. I haven't shotwith it yet so I don't know how it will hold up. I'll follow up after I take it to the range. I'll try it with 9mm pistols.I PAID FULL PRICE FOR THIS ITEM. NO BOGUS FREE ITEM REVIEW.

Great light just not for carry use
So I was searching for a light and really didn't feel like spending a $100 on a flashlight, so I decided to go with this one. Its reasonably priced and works really well. Unfortunately this light has one fatal flaw. The on/off switch for this light is a switch that you push to the left to turn on and push to the right to turn off. Doesn't seem like a flaw but it is when you go to holster a pistol with this light on it. The holster will almost always push the switch to the left to turn it on. Even if you manage to carefully put it in your holster the slightest brush up against you and your new pistol light is turning on. This alone makes this light impractical for any carry use. Its also hard to find a holster with this light as its not one of the premier lights so not a lot of holster manufacturers make one for this particular light. I would argue you could use one of the OWB holsters that don't cover the bottom of the pistol but again your running the risk of something brushing up against it and turning it on. This is my major issue and the reason why I returned this light as I was looking for something I could put on my pistol and carry concealed. Now if your buying this for a rifle or a home defense pistol that you don't plan on carrying I would 100% recommend this over the more expensive alternatives. Just remember you gotta lay the pistol on the left side or else the switch will get pushed in and turn on the light. Now as for the actual light itself, it worked great, not as bright as some of the higher end ones but it gets the job done. It was a good weight to it and not gunna lie looks pretty cool on my Glock 19. So with that being said, don't buy this if you plan to carry with it, but do buy this for a rifle/home defense pistol.

Cheap price not cheap quality
Just received this literally minutes ago. I wasn't expecting too much out of this product for the price, but am I pretty blown away! The aluminum casing it's made of feels like it's pretty durable. The quality of the coating isn't bad at all. The light is extremely BRIGHT for indoor use and possibly outdoor as well. The front spikes are great and feels like it can do light damage to any intruder at close range.Functionality is pretty straight forward. You press the button once for the flashlight then turn it off. Turn it on again to engage the strobe light and then turn it off to reset. I feel it's meant for right handlers as the right index finger can easily reach the button. But you can easily accidentally press it when your finger is not on the trigger. All in all, great light for half the price and it comes with a battery and charger. Can't beat that.Fits directly and snugly onto my Smith & Wesson SD9VE 9mm hand pistol.
