Pony up for the Cermic
New boat, new problems. This one has literally half the Galley storage as the last. Using this as an excuse I started nosing around the internet for some nesting cookware. Cuisinart stopped production on theirs and it was looking like Magma was the only company making quality nesting cookware. Trouble there is I own a Magma grill and I hate it. The thing wont stay lit in the slightest breeze. So Im grumbling around amazon and about to pull the trigger on a magma 10 piece (pots not chicken)One of the reviewers on amazon mention that they were unhappy about the set because it got scratched in shipping. so next time they where going to try Kuuma. ?? That didnt really make a lot of sense to me either. But hey i dont always make sense myself.I start poking around at the Kuuma set and there is no information about it anywhere. none. But its not magma and that grill is irritating me.Brilliant plan starts and i email Kuuma, ask them whats up why are there no reviews, I get a song about new products and sorry we are working on getting them out for reviews. Oh and why dont we send you a 2 qt and you can test drive her before dropping next weeks pay on pot..im happy, who doesnt like free pot. I get it and its nice. Im not a huge cook but I liked how heavy it is and I really, really liked the ceramic coating. I tried frying an egg in a dry pan and done. no sticking, dry pan, no oil, just an egg. kind of a bland egg but my point stands, pony up for ceramic. The handles are meh. they lock in securely and even if there is a slight rattle you really feel like they are holding the pan and are not going to let go. I would prefer a grippy coating over the handles also maybe a scosche thicker. this was a solid amount of money for solid pans. They deserve hefty handles. They have some heft and with the thick slab of aluminum sandwiched in the Stainless they aren't producing any hot spots that my untrained eye can tell. I do like that you can slip off the handles and put any of these directly in the oven, even the 1.5qt to reheat the dip.In summation, good solid cookware, definitely get the ceramic and some silicone cooking tools. Its a dreamps. Notice I bought the 10 piece set. Tricky move on Kuuma, had they sent me a 1.5qt pot i would have gone with the 7 piece. its cheaper and i would have had everything except the 3qt PLUS an extra handle! but nooo if i bought the 7 piece i would have had 2, 2 qt pots and they don't stack. so i had to pony up for the 10 piece and then pass that 2qt onto the next boater who fill then find himself in the same 7 piece vs 10 piece quandary i found myself. evil takes many forms.PPS, yes I know the stove is dirty, ill get to it...

I absolutely love these. They are heavy
I absolutely love these. They are heavy, take a small amount of space, and they clean up really easy. I highly recommend this set!!

Really worth the money
I am outfitting a boat for long term cruising, so storage space is at a premium. I had been using our camping cookware, but decided it was time for a space saving option. This Kuuma Nesting Cookware exceeded my expectations. First, it really does fit in a 8" x 10' space. The handles do not fit into the pans, so you have to store them separately; in my case, they are just in the drawer with the rest of my utensils. Second, it is very heavy, not flimsy at all, as I was afraid it might be. Third, the ceramic coating makes it almost effortless to clean up. I tried them at home to make home made macaroni and cheese. Normally, the melted cheese residue inside the pot is difficult to clean. But, I made the melted cheese in the 3 qt sauce pan, then used a paper towel to wipe it clean. No food residue to worry about going down the sink on my boat! I did not need to use any Pam to scramble eggs; they just smoothly slid out. I noticed that the pans do a great job conducting heat, so I have to be diligent in watching how high my propane flame is. You may think they are pricey, but I think they are worth every penny. One tip: Get some cushy pot separators so that the attachment points for the handles do not scratch the pan they are nested in. Didn't happen to me, but I noticed right away that it could be a problem.
