Alstertor Herring Fish Fillet in Tomato Sauce, 7.05 oz, Pack of 10

I'm addicted to Herring in Jar (wine or sour cream) or canned. Not so much my wife. Alstertor is the best.

I have eaten various types of Alstertor canned herring for many years, and I firmly believe that it is THE BEST canned herring on the market! My favorites are the dill-herb sauce and these tomato sauce varieties. I refrigerate mine before eating, which I find to be the perfect way of eating them. The price of these Alstertor Herring Fish Fillets in Tomato Sauce in a 10 can case are a very good bargain. I will be ordering them again.

I grew up eating this type of Herring dish and only found it totally overpriced item. Love that brand!

Great product.

Just tried my first can of these bought locally and I can say that the tomato sauce is far more enjoyable than the tomato sauce in the last herring-with-tomato tin I ate, and the herring itself is not too salty or fishy tasting. It's just about right. The product looks appetizing in the can too. I would eat these again.
