Bison Sirloin Premium Center Cut 8 oz. Steaks (Case of 18) - TenderBison

I was interested in trying bison because of the nutritional benefits. I’ve read that it is a great source of protein, carnitine & iron but has much less fat than beef.Because I wasn’t sure if I would like the flavor, taking the plunge on this large pack was a big risk. I’m so glad I went ahead and ordered!The steaks arrived quickly. They were well packaged.We grilled them up medium rare with our normal steak seasonings, and they came out great. The only differences from beef were good ones - zero gristle/fat and a more tender texture. There was a slight flavor difference, like a mild sweetness. It was not gamey or grassy at all. I’m sure if you served it to someone without telling them it was bison, they would just think it was a delicious premium steak.I hope this helps other people new to bison steaks. If you can afford the premium price, it is definitely worth it in my opinion.

Steaks arrived quickly and fantastically sealed. Cooked a couple and they were quite tasty and tender. They taste like meat used to taste 30 years ago!! I won't hesitate to order from them again!!!!

Bison is a great alternative to Beef, and these Sirloins have been good quality cuts, with excellent flavor and tenderness.
