I was hesitant but now I'm a fan!
I was worried that this wallpaper would be a nightmare to hang without wrinkles/bubbles AND that it would peel the paint from my wall. Happy to say neither fear came true. It does take some pre-planning and careful handling to hang it well but after the first couple of strips it goes pretty well. We covered an entire accent wall in each daughter's bedroom and it looks great. My tips:-Start in the corner of the room and at the ceiling-Peel backer sheet down about 10" and align carefully to wall-ceiling joint-If possible, have a helper eyeball the hanging sheet to ensure straight-Start at top, tacking in place, then use a yardstick to press over the sheet and down the wall as you go-Peel the paper and continue down the wall in about 12" sections with the yard stick following your peel-This way, very few bubbles or wrinkles form-Cut the sheet about an inch below baseboard so that you can use the yardstick to get all the way down to the baseboard tightly-Once the wall is done, you can trim the excess along baseboard easily with exacto knife-Once first sheet is in place, cut the roll square (grid on back) and start the next one in the same way-KEY TIP - overlap the sheets about 1/2" - don't try to align sheets by butting each one right against each other or you'll have a gap to cover.-Another tip, if you do have gaps or cuts or whatever, we found that you can cover easily but cutting a patch out of your leftovers (I'd save some for this purpose) and just sticking over the cut or gap. You can hardly see the patch when done.-If you are going around outlets or light switches, be sure to remove the switch plate cover and put the wall paper right over the switch/outlet, then trim with exacto knife. Then, when you replace the plate cover, it will look perfect and professional.Hope this helps - this is a really good product to quickly do an accent wall without the mess of painting. (be careful not to scrape or crease the paper if you can - it will leave white marks as the color does not go all the way through the paper - just the surface)

Easy to install once you get the hang of it!
For anyone trying out this or similar products, I have a little advice to make things go smoother. I'm sure that I am repeating what others have written but here goes.1)Try to sand out any bumps, nail and screw holes and paint drips. If you intend on hanging up things in the exact same place, then leave the nail or screw holes alone as they will bulge out slightly, then you will know where to hand pictures back in the original spot. (If that's important for you.)3) Clean the wall to remove dust, spider webs, etc.2) Do not peel the entire backing off.3) Measure the wall from top to bottom with a little extra overlap.4) (Most important from my experience), Make sure to lay about an inch of the paper on the wall starting from the top, in the corner. I would put pressure more on the folded backing and then lightly press the adhesive down.5) try not to stretch the paper too much as this will cause wrinkles.6) smooth the adhesive with your hand from left to right (or right to left), then peel a little more of the backing and repeat, going about a 1" to 2" at a time.7) Overlap your rows. You can always go back and cut out the overlapping areas later if you want.8) If you use a plastic squeegee then go slowly as you could rip the paper if you run over a paint drip or bump on the wall. (See step 1)9) Try not to fold or twist the paper as you could leave a crease.10) Lastly, take your time.

Beware, you can never take it down
Where to start... We live in a rental apartment in New York City and after living in the same spot for 3 1/2 years we decided that one of our walls had too many picture holes in it and we would either need to use putty to patch the holes and buy a $60 gallon of commercial grade paint to cover it or try our hand at this peel and stick wallpaper, which had such great reviews! Our first strip that went up was not difficult but as we were close to the end of the strip we realize that it was crooked. We thought we could re-position it and not have any problems. Wrong! As we worked to reposition it we realize that the pai our first strip that went up was not difficult but as we were close to the end of the strip we realize that it was crooked. We thought we could re-position it and not have any problems. Wrong! As we worked to re-position it we realize that the paper was stretching out beyond repair and that we would have to trash the whole section and start over. Whatever, that wasn’t that big of a deal, we decided we would chalk it up as our learning piece. As we attempted to remove the paper from the wall, which had only been stuck for Amir minutes, the paper ripped massive chunks of paint and the top sheet of the drywall straight off of the wall as we removed it. The wall behind the paper is totally ruined. ( also, just to give a background on my husband and I… We have flipped multiple houses and used wallpaper in the past and painted more rooms than I could count and have moderate construction knowledge and abilities… That to say, this was not user error) We were shocked! This paper is marketed to renters who are not allowed to paint. Honestly, it would be so much easier for renters to paint a new color and then repaint the wall back to the original color before they leave rather than have to deal with spackling an entire wall, or room, and then painting it back to the original color. This paper is decent quality, it is nice to look at it nice to touch. However, it just does not come off easily. I am Magine that for us to remove it in the future we will have to steam the sections of the wall as we go in order to loosen the adhesive on the back of the paper. Basically, it is going to take forever and be so much more work than just painting. this paper is decent quality, it is nice to look at it nice to touch. However, it just does not come off easily. This is not a product for us
