Honestly I wasn't sure at first because out of the box this blanket just wasn't very nice looking. It was dull/flat looking and had a chemical smell I didn't like. IMPORTANT!! This blanket is not pre washed. Wash alone in cold water with mild detergent and a little fabric softener it will bleed a little black dye the first wash. Dry on low it will shed a little lint and get static so use a dryer sheet. The material quality is surprisingly really good after washing. After washing and drying it came out vibrant and shiny. The pom fringe aka dingle balls are really nice size and not too small. Just be patient untangling them if they tangle up in the dryer. It didn't shrink so that is good. Edges are hemmed nicely. Fringe is excellent quality. Size is fine. I like these lightweight blankets they are comfortable. I recommend buying one of these. This is the second black blanket from Pavilia brand I have bought, and I am very happy with it. I also have an orange one I really like that has been through a lot of washes holding up strong.

Comfortable but the balls get stuck together in knots then you end up having to pull them apart which ends up breaking them. But truthfully it’s really comfortable I use it every night regardless

Edit: I’ve been using this blanket for about 10 months now and it’s become my favorite blanket. It’s held up very well to my 80lb lab and repeated washing’s and it still looks as good as new. I think I’m actually going to order a second one because I love it so much. Changing to 5 stars! I wanted a dark green throw blanket for the end of my bed and this one seemed to fit the bill. The color is really beautiful (though hard to get an accurate photo of it) and the blanket itself is sooooo soft. I’m just using this as a decorative throw so I won’t be washing it too often but I think if you’re using it as a daily lap blanket and washing it frequently it won’t hold up well so keep that in mind. Removed 1 star because I don’t think it will wash well.

Love these pom pom fringe blankets. I bought two to use them as christmas tree skirt. The burgundy color matches really well with my christmas decorations. The blankets are thicker than expected and I like how they drape. I am very happy with my purchase

Sadly I never thought I would write this kind of review. I just ordered another blanket but a little bigger. This seems to be the only blanket in the house that my husband will use right now as he’s going through a very rigorous chemotherapy. He is always cold and this blanket is soft and keeps him warm. I never understood just how soft a blanket must be when going through chemo. I highly recommend this blanket when I purchased it in 2023. It was simply to lay on my bed and look pretty. It doesn’t shed!
