At the risk of achieving TL;DR…First, let's get this out of the way: Yes, the pants are left long by the manufacturer. They are sewn of non-fraying fabric, and you are meant to cut them to the length that you like. No hemming is necessary, unless you want a very finished look (and expect people to be eyeballing your ankles so closely).I am 5'6", 150lbs., and I bought the Large in solid black. The pants are, as shown in the vendor photos, clingy in the hips/butt area and roomy elsewhere (including the waistband, but I have a waist/hip ratio that does this to me no matter what I buy). The fabric is very stretchy, so there's probably a lot of leeway across sizes. The style's cling and thinness of the fabric (that's thin, but not sheer, at least not the black) does require giving thought to what undergarments you wear beneath. If you get one of the wildly patterned pairs, your VPL may not be so V anyway, but don't count on it.I had a pair of pants very similar to this a gazillion (okay, 20) years ago, and I wish I'd never gotten rid of them. Thank goodness I found these! Great for traveling, they don't wrinkle and dry very quickly so you can freshen them up if necessary in a hotel room sink. Comfortable enough for just about anything, they dress up for an evening out as easily as they can be worn to the office or running errands. I'll definitely be buying more in other colors.

GREAT pants! I'm 5'9" and they are plenty tall. Flowy, smooth, very flattering, and COMFORTABLE.On sizing, I am normally a 1x and ordered the 3x, as many other brands are cut so small. I probably could have kept my original size, as the 3x are really big, I'll probably nip the waist but taking it in a bit.But great product, definitEly American sizing, so picking your actual size will probably work. Also LOVED that they are long enough. (If shorter, they might be too long for you, and this is not a "cut yourself" model, as they are hemmed.)

Wanted some loose pants to wear around the house and for some errands. These are comfy and soft, very flattering to my shape. I have large hips, thighs, and butt, however the pants drape nicely without clinging. The waist holds up as you might expect, though it does slide down a bit through out the day, though it's the price you pay with the material. It's quite thin, and I have tattoos on my thighs that can be see through the fabric, and major panty lines show up. Because of this, I tend to wear these pants only around the house or with longer tops to cover the sheer parts.

These pants are SO soft & so perfectly fitting! I am truly in love with them & completely satisfied with my purchase! They fit true to size & unlike some of the reviews I read that said they're “see through,” no, no they're not.. at all actually. They look amazing on & I stretched them to see if maybe they would be see through if I stretched them thin enough, & even THEN.. still not see through! Ignore the negative reviews & just give them a chance.. you'll fall in love! Did I mention how soft they are?!Update ~ the first 2 pairs I bought were this buttery soft material that was amaaazing!! So, I ordered 2 more pairs & the last couple pairs I got were this weird, roughish polyester feeling material. I do not care for the last 2 pairs I received. I don’t understand why they changed the material.... but they definitely feel cheap. Not a fan at all. I’m quite disappointed too, cause I just loved my first 2 pairs. I will not purchase anymore of these pants.

Love how light these are feels like I'm not wearing anything, you can't see through them and I love that too, they fit a little bit bigger but I needed that size cause of how tall I am I'm 5' 10 after i washed them they fit better on the top and still had the length they didn't shrink up at all. I also bought 2 more pairs in 2 different colors. These pants are so comfortable I'm planning on getting 1 in every color. I'm very satisfied with these pants 😊 I highly recommend these over any other knock offs.

These pants are so comfy and good for work, house lounging or dressing up. I am about 6ft tall and I bought the XL and they fit perfect!! I'm not skinny at all but I am a curvy spanish woman.

I wear a 10 the medium fits. The material is soft and flowy but I was expecting a little bit wider in the thigh area. It's not tight, but they look like the bell bottoms back in the day. They're okay I just wanted something flowing all the way down.

Super nice, well made !! The black stays black even after 10wash. The legs are long enough for high heels, but some might want to cut the bottom caus its long. Over all i love it !!

The material is lighter than I'd like and it was wrinkled in the package. I washed and hung while still damp hoping the wrinkles would disappear, but that is not the case.

Very long in the leg, and I have long legs, so I will be wearing heels with these. Not a option for flats.
