KIWI Express Shine, Instant Shine Sponge, Brown 0.23 oz (Pack - 1, Brown)

The Kiwi express shine sponges are great for a quick touch up of shoes, but aren't for the base polish. I bought a new set of low quarters for my "pinks and greens" uniform, and put a good base polish on with the normal paste wax. But I keep the express shine in my kit for quick touch ups, especially before an inspection, parade, or ceremony.

I've been using similar products for years. Being ex-military, I like my dress shoes highly shined. I like the shiny results without having to use the messy shoe polish. I've even used this to bring back the sheen on my black work sneakers. Easy to use with amazing results.

Walmart used to sell these at my local store but they stopped offering them about 2 years ago. All other alternatives I’ve tried are horrible. These sponges Arlene great and last a long time! Highly recommend.

It's not a replacement for real shoe polish. IT won't protect the leather in the same way, and the shine will be more fleeting and less durable. That said, if you want to put a little shine on your shoes very quickly, this is a solid option. I don't even know how much difference it makes to use brown vs. black (I haven't discerned much in the way of color transfer), but it's a quick and dirty solution to make your shoes look clean for a day or two.
