LEAKS AFTER 2 USES
Honestly don't know why I expected anything more than a poorly made lump of plastic that is so loud you can hear it from the other end of your house. Had it placed on the windowsill above my bed to keep cool at night,It leaked after only 2 uses causing water to drip down my wall and puddle near an outlet. I expect a full refund

Air cooler
It didn’t look like the image on this review. It’s a small cube as on Amazon site. Personally it didn’t work any better than a normal fan for me. Water spills over when you move it. It’s noisy and the filter went mildew . I wouldn’t recommend

Ok, but better fans available
Had this for a while now and it just doesn't cut it as a way to cool a small room. Yes when you take the filter out of the fridge and put in you get cool air for a few minutes but it quickly warms up despite the water tank having ice water in it. At that point it's just a normal fan.The controls are nice and the design is neat and compact, the Coloured light is a novel touch, and the slats can be angled up and down are actually very effective at directing air, but the noise this thing makes is pretty loud due to the cheap large PC fan it uses. A better quality and quiet fan would have been much appreciated.Easy to fill with water, but when you empty the water out you have to tip the whole box upside down and water spills all over the internals.I do like the fact it is USB powered though. It does have a rechargeable battery which lasted less than an hour for me. But plugging into your laptop USB is a nice feature.Overall it's an ok desk fan if you're short on space, but wear noise cancelling headphones or the fan whirring will become irritating.

Good product but not A/C substitute.
Whether this is any good for you will depend entirely what you need it for.We bought it with the notion of putting ice water in to cool our baby's room for 30 mins before putting him down on hot summer nights. We didn't want to spend £300 on an air conditioning unit so the theory was if this could take the temp down 3-4°C that would be sufficient. To be blunt this unit can't really do that. If you want a cool room, even a small room, you need proper a/c. It's refreshingly cool in front of the fan but it can't bring down ambient temp. However there are some real positives, hence 4 stars. The battery element with USB charge means this would be a godsend in a tent in summer or a caravan. Equally the fan really does delivery nicely hydrated air so when the cool air is on you it's less blustery than a regular fan but just as refreshing. On battery it runs about an hour on full power or 2hrs on a lower setting.

4 seconds of cool air!
This worked for 4 seconds once turned on. I tried it several times. Each time it worked for 4 seconds. It then leaked water all over the table. Really disappointing! I had planned to get a few of these for round the house but thought I’d order one to start with - rubbish!

Useless and waste of money
This product is useless. Do not buy. Waste of money. No better than a normal fan and you’d probably be better off just buying a normal fan. If you need to cool down properly this won’t do a thing to help you. Pointless on hot days

Not that quiet, but does cool YOU down
I guess it’s ok for the money. It does have a good “personal” cooling effect, but you do need to have it fairly close to you, blowing straight at you. So it is definitely a PERSONAL cooler, i.e. it cools YOU down, not the room.Unfortunately, that also means that even on the minimum setting it’s not that quiet, because it’s right next to you. Having said that, if we have another heat wave and I get really desperate, I don’t think I would mind the noise too much. The diffuser function, however, does make a really loud high pitched whine, so I definitely won’t use that again, which is a shame.
