Captain Phillips

This movie will have you on the edge of your seat! Tom Hanks does a terrific job and can really convey the fear that the Real Captain Phillips must have felt! It's a really terrific movie and everyone in it is very good. Lots of "edge of your seat" moments! I definitely would recommend adding this to your collection. Every time I watch it, I see something more that I missed last time. It's really that good.

Once you get past the annoying accent Hanks has in this film (sorry East-Coasters), it is pure gold. The last 20 minutes of the film, in my opinion, are some of the best in the history of cinema. To think that Tom Hanks of "Bosom Buddies" and "Big" evolved into this is crazy.

My favorite line was when the small boat was chasing them and Captain Phillips was reporting them, the lady he was reporting them to says they're probably just fisherman. He said, they're not here to fish. Then you can see them on the boat with machine guns.

Definitely an upgrade to 4k uhd, now that they are not selling blurays at the store anymore Amazon is my new goto I just wish they would get more content on disks, cannot beat a hard copy over a compressed, streamed or downloaded file, must have the hard copy

I love Tom Hanks and he makes this movie great. Very interesting adventure movie

Second time watching and I loved it both times. It's a bit of a nail biter. Great story and suspense, great acting, great time watching.

Whether or not this recreation of the true events this story presents, the acting was convincing and the storyline kept me on edge until the end.

We bought this for our own private viewing and really enjoyed the story. We enjoy true stories and liked how it showed both sides of the characters' lives.
