Teak Wood Cutting Board for Kitchen with Hand Grip by Salt & Light, 15.75 x 11.25 x 1 inches

I've owned the cutting board for over a year now and it's held up very well. Enough so that I went out of my to post this after thinking about how nice it still looks after a lot of use.For the people who read the reviews about the board warping: I experienced this too not long after buying it, but once I applied cutting board wax to it, it flattened out on its own and has stayed flat with regular wax application (usually around the time water stops beading on it and it becomes annoying to wipe off). I haven't used any mineral oil either, just wax. The wife and I use it a few times each week, but it still looks as good as new after a fresh coat of wax. Wax.

I just bought some new Japanese knives and hated using them on bamboo or plastic. Wood “end” boards are supposed to be the kindest on knives. I chose this one because it looked beautiful and it was the most reasonably priced. When it arrived both my wife and I were really impressed with the build and look. Solid piece and excellent craftsmanship. It even seemed like the craftsman took the time to place the best side facing up and placing the pieces where they looked best. I would definitely recommend this cutting boardFYI. If you don’t have food grade mineral oil you should get some. The board was really enhanced by protecting with the oil. When you get a new board generously oil it multiple times until it doesn’t soak in anymore. This will make sure that moisture and bacteria won’t get into the board and prevent cracking or splitting.

Love this Salt & Light board! Beautiful wood pattern! In fact the wood was so beautiful and perfect, I took a “double take”, checking to see if the wood work was printed on, or if I had been “duped”. No, just beautiful, exquisite wood work, solid, and yet not too heavy because of it’s ample, appropriate size, just perfect!

I washed and then treated with mineral oil. The paper towel used left fuzz, not the best quality - still needs a good final sanding. The advert states pre-treated. My foot! Why then, did half the oil I used get absorbed? I love the pattern. The end cut is the best. So far, my pineapple wished it had a cut out for a juice tray. Over all 4 out of 5.

This cutting board is nice looking but didn’t last long at all. It has cracked for no reason.

Really really love this chopping board. It's sturdy and easy to clean, and it feels like we'll have it for many years to come. I'll probably purchase a second one soon!

This board looks great and was fun to use until it cracked from the middle. Was only able to get couple months of use out of it despite only using it 1-2 days a week and taking good care of it with cutting board oil and wax. Always hand washed and dried as per instructions. Disappointed!

This is a nice cutting board, however, it warps like crazy with every wash. I hand wash it, dry it off, and lay it flat, yet it is slowly turning into a bowl. I have to set one of my larger cutting boards on top with something heavy to keep this board from warping. Annoying to say the least.
