Will do the job - Needs reinforcement
Overall, worth the investment. Here are the bad and the good:BAD:This unit is made of steel that is too tin/low quality and needs thicker gauge steel. When assembling, I had to be careful not to apply too much torque to the nuts/bolts, or the square tubing would start to cave in... I was only using a standard ratchet...Related to the issue above, the pull-up bar is a joke. After tightening everything, I tried to do a pull-up, and the bar bent down immediately... I'm only 185lbs, and was not swinging or kipping... just a normal pullup.J-Hooks for barbel are a nice shape, but the holes in the rack don't go high enough for someone over 6' tall who wants to squat and have the bar as high as possible... I'm 6' 2" and will likely end up drilling additional holes to mount the J-Hooks higherUnit shakes, side-to-side when doing pull-ups (I use the cross-bar and not the pull-up bar). I'll likely end up welding in an additional "X" brace on the back side of the unit for lateral stability, as well as welding in additional support to bolster the metal behind the pull-up bar.GOOD:Overall, the value is decent. The following features are why I bought this, and I'm happy I did:Weight storage: This helps the rack stay planted, and frees up space on the floor.Spotter arms: I work out alone, and these are a must. They're not the longest... I'll likely end up extending these, and adding more support against the rack for more rigidity over time.Compact: Takes up a little less space than a traditional rack.Mounting tabs: Can be bolted to your platform, or directly to the floor.Overall, I don't think I'd buy this exact unit again. If it were, for example, $100 - $150 more... and addressed the issues above, I think it could be a fantastic value. Until then, it will do... No plan on returning, as I'm able to weld... For those that aren't, I'd recommend going with a full cage, or a half cage that is a thicker gauge steel.

Review
Overall Sturdy Build For the Money and Good Rack. There are signs of corners cut when manufacturing to cut cost but nothing serious, mainly cosmetic.
