It is what it is - an expensive attractive accessory. It looks great when paired with the cool control system.Note that you only need to replace the plastic inner tube, IE you don’t replace the metal exterior (which is solely for looks).If you’re spending that much on a Jura, may as well make it look great as well! Good quality and serves its purpose… even if a bit over priced.

I was about to buy this from William Sonoma for double the price, glad I found it on Amazon instead. It’s an authentic Jura sleeve for the milk frother. Looks really nice and good quality.

We like the tube. For lack of a better description, it’s a normal food grade tube surrounded by stainless steel akin to a “slinky”. To me it seems to be more of a cosmetic change than anything. I believe it needs to be replaced after a few months of use as you would need to do the same thing with a standard tube. Again, we like it but it is pricey.

Stainless steel is not that expensive. This is a MAJOR upgrade to the standard milk tube and for me it fits and works perfectly on the Z8. However, does seem to be way over-priced for what you actually get. Not even a spare inner tube or anything.... All in all I love the way it looks and it actually is functional because it gives sturdiness to the milk tube. Just wish the price was more fair.
