Great filter, high pressure, terrible installation instructions
This filter definitely takes the chlorine taste out of my water. That was most important to me. I wish it was all metal instead of plastic but it is all NSF rated so I can't complain. The water pressure is WAY higher than I was expecting (though I do have good water pressure to begin with) and so far no leaks whatsoever.My only complaint was the terrible installation instructions. The sheet that came with mine said I needed to cut pipe, and buy several additional pieces of hardware which was not true. It came with everything I needed except the plumbing tape.I looked up "water filter faucet install" on YouTube and found a great tutorial for installing this so it only took 15 minutes to put in! Having never done plumbing before I was happy about that. Most systems have the same install components so it didn't matter that the tutorial was for a different brand.

Great Filter
I purchased this unit mainly because the housing is made by 3M. But since installing it, I am even more impressed at the quality of water that comes out of the faucet. To make it a plus, the filters are reasonably priced and last over 6 months. The water pressure that comes out of this unit is great.

Great filters
I am basing my rating on the fact I have had experience with the filters with this unit. They are some of the best. Also,the unit itself is very well constructed. I have not yet installed it as it came with no parts sheet, no instructions, and I'm not a plumber so I have had to contact the seller direct. While cordial and responding usually about 24 hours later (send a question during the day and sometime the next day get an answer), I still am not a plumber and some of their responses and hand written out diagram won't really help me. I currently have a different unit that is an RO unit and I'm replacing it with this water filter (not an RO). The fittings I have under my sink now will have to be removed (one plugged and I hope I have the drain cap plug for it) and then replaced with new parts sent in with the unit. This weekend I will bite the bullet and remove the old and install the new. I hope I won't end up with either a leak from the removal and re-install of the new unit. I'm sure this would be a 45 minute or less job for a plumber, but for a novice I suspect it will take a few hours.

Installed in my 5th wheel camper. Installation was easy enough. Water has no chlorine taste/smell. Plastic PEX plumbing in my camper was departing an unpleasant odor and taste in the water. This filter removes it completely.

Fresh Water
I have a refrigerator water filter. This one works better than that one and aides in filling all my pots, coffee machine and other fresh water needed areas in the home. The water is now drinkable.

So far I am really pleased with the water filtration system. My drinking water tastes great and I don't have to buy bottled water.
