Very stylish and sturdy lamp. Proxim. sensor works from 3m away in larger rooms. Remote ctrl incl.
I will separate this review to 2 sections: the lamp itself and the customer service provided by the Chinese Seller LP Shop.The lamp: the quality of this lamp is slightly different than what I have expected. The stand is plastic, not metal and because of that the shiny top part is prone to scratches. It shouldn't be a big of an issue when properly handled though. The main part protecting the bulb is sturdy metal with some rubber in the upper part and it's of an excellent quality. The buttons are capacitive (not physical) and they give a sound feedback when pressed.The instruction provided in the box was in Chinese so make sure to request the English version if the Seller didn't provide it before that. I have received mine promptly by email upon request which was written in very good English, much better than what I have seen from other Chinese products.The human/proximity sensor works only in a larger rooms and needs 30 sec to automatically activate after turning the lamp on. It is possible to turn it off completely if not needed or it's causing any issues. There is also a good quality remote control provided but requires a CR2032 battery which was not included.The unit I ordered was without the ozone and requires to open window for at least 20 min to air the room after using it. Leather items, any pictures or paintings and plants need to be covered or taken off the wall before using the lamp.UK adapter for the plug was included in the box.I'm deducting one star from the overall score because of the missing English instruction manual, a remote control battery in the box and some proximity sensor issues - later resolved by contacting the Seller.Customer Service - LP Shop, China:The delivery was very fast, about 8 day to UK.The unit was neatly packed.There was a small issue with the proximity sensor in my unit but was promptly resolved by Alice from the Customer Care Unit. I was very impressed with her English and how effective she was at resolving the problem. All in all I was very happy with the outcome and could definitely recommend the lamp and the Seller! They are relatively new on Amazon but the after sale support they provide is top notch!
