So far, it seems a but soft. When you first climb on, it feels firm, but it settles deeper than anticipated. I've seen reviews that state it firms more over time and it's only been a few days, so holding judgement til then. Overall, it is a very very nice mattress and a fantastic value, if it firms even a little it'll be 5 stars easily.I didn't think it would hit the 12 inches initially, but it did after 2 days standing up and then laying it down for the last bit of evening out.If it stays like this a topper is definitely not needed, and even at this firmness it way beats the hybrid beautyrest I paid 3k fir a few years back!!! (Which suffered layer slippage within 3 years.)Well worth the money.Definitely recommend for anyone transitioning to memory foam wanting a bit of that plush feel with good under support.UPDATE: determined it was definitely a bit soft for me. However, if you like a plush mattress don't let thar stop you! It sinks about 3 inches and huts that support layer, so its like having a plush topper on a firm mattress. The plush layer was just too deep for my old hips!

THIS.... Is IYEE NATURE's 12-inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress.... and right off the bat I want to say that this bed is more on the firm side. When buying a mattress in a box, from any random brand, it can be hard! Especially when spending large amounts of money. I am here to say that the 12" option is legit!This mattress is from a box, meaning it is vacuum sealed down and expands when you open it (mine opened in just a few hours and I slept on it the same night. The bed had the typical off smell once it opened, but faded away in just a couple of days.The mattress is more on the firm side, however, the first couple of inches are made of a squishy memory foam that kept me cool all night (and I am a hot sleeper)! Past that, it was more on the firm side so I was able to sink down and still have support in any direction I turn. The bed also is great for that time of night with a friend and had zero issues, and the firmness kept me from sliding as well!The best part about this mattress is that you can get it smaller or thicker depending on how much foam and memory foam you think you might want, I got this for my guest bedroom but am really thinking about replacing my actual mattress with this same one as I enjoy it so much! I think that you can certainly find better mattresses than this one but at a significantly higher price. This is not my first box mattress in this price range so I have been around the block and the only mattress I like more is my several thousand-dollar purple mattress.I highly recommend this mattress for anyone needing something in this price range and honestly below $1000 as this is THAT good. It keeps you cool, comfortable and supported and I think that you will enjoy it just as much as I did. If not, amazon is great with returns so just hit them up if it isn't for you!

This bed should come with a warning label I was stuck on this mattress for nearly 4 days, it's waaaaay too comfortable 🤣🤣.No but in all seriousness, this bed is great, fluffed up in less than 2 hours (I found myself laying on it to see what it felt like and accidentally took a 3 hour nap 🥴)What makes it no better was that I got an additional mattress topper and whewwwww, I set myself up for failure on this one 😤.It's soft, but still has a bit of firmness and has really helped with body pains after sleeping on a crummy pillowtop of nearly 2 years.I'm actually excited to lay in my bed now.10/10

No weird smell like I had read. Took about 2-3 days to fully puff up I was a little concerned the first day but it got there in a few days. Fairly medium-firm. Very comfy. They hauled away my old mattress for free. But only will if it had no stains…it did not, but I was unaware if it had a stain they would not of taken it. Took 5 min to set up. They set it up for me on free delivery & free haul away. Would recommend. I am using it with my box spring and a bed frame.

I have never used a bed in a box for myself before and I have to say it’s good but bad. Before this mattress, I had my mattress for about 10 years and I never realized my mattress was that bad. With this mattress, I picked a medium firm and when I lay on it I feel I’m not sinking into the bed. I feel like I need a pillow top on it but I do sleep through the night. Even in the same position I fell asleep in. It takes some getting use to so in a few more months I’m sure it will be great!

I was bit hesitant to buy this mattress but decided to give it a try and glad I did. I allowed it two days to expand before I laid on it although I think it would have been fine after 24hrs. I purchased a 12in medium to firm and totally worth the price. Loved it so much I bought one for my guest room :)

Only about 6 inches thick .but he said 8 lmao 🤣 still quite comfortable and soft. I'm 190 5/10 &it's perfect for me not to stiff. It really conforming ro ur body. I sleep hot and it holds the heat more than I want but I can live with it well worth the money

I use the mattress for sleep. I have it place on a no box spring frame. It fits perfectly. What I like about the mattress is how it improved my sleep and body recovery in rest. The one thing I may dislike about is, that I the firmness could be more firm. That’s not the mattress’ fault. I would just recommend understanding your firmness for your body type and sleep position.

Necesitaba un colchón mi presupuesto no era bueno, ya había perdido esperanza pero gracias A Dios di con este colchón. Soy de México es la primera vez que compro de Amazon estados unidos, compre el día 25 y me llegó el día 29, un día antes de lo previsto. Llegó perfecto en su caja y a la vez dentro de otra caja sin daño alguno. Enseguida lo abrí. Quedó chico el ancho (76cms) para mí base individual pero no importa me ayudó con mi necesidad. Leí todas las reseñas y la mayoría quedaron fascinados con el colchón pero se quedaron cortos!!! Descubrir un producto a un precio que no es alto y más si no cuentas con mucho dinero y que es de buena calidad en materiales y funcionalidad sorprendente. Algunas reseñas indican que tiene un cierto aroma a plástico pero el que me llegó ni el colchón ni telas ni bolsa de empaque tenían olor alguno desagradable, la funda de cierre está bien hecha para poder retirarla y lavarla, la tela es de buena calidad, y comenzo el proceso de inflado. Ayer mismo tenía una altura de casi 4 pulgadas hoy día 24 horas después va en 5 pulgadas, se supone es de 6 pulgadas de altura. Al recostarse como que se reparte el peso y se sume es suave pero firme al mismo tiempo y se está cómodo. Se siente un poco la base de cama pero espero solucionarlo con una colchoneta y cartón. En una semana o dos actualizaré mi reseña una vez que pasaron las 74 horas que recomiendan para poder usarse y les diré. Pero no quería perder la oportunidad decirles que recomiendo el colchón por su buen precio y excelente calidad.
