🛠️ Krytox: The industrial lubricant that works as hard as you do.
DuPont MS1020101 Krytox GPL oil is a premium industrial lubricant designed for extreme conditions. It is completely nonflammable, chemically inert against aggressive chemicals, and stable at high temperatures up to 288°C. Ideal for critical applications like valves, bearings, and high-speed motors, Krytox ensures long-lasting, safe, and eco-friendly lubrication that minimizes maintenance and maximizes equipment reliability.

Viscosity is much lower then the GPL 105 & 106 oils. This oil seems to get into tougher spots.
This is a very expensive oil, so I would only use in situations where I would need an oil that would not burn or evaporate. This is a professional grade oil meant for industrial applications. Use it when this particular oil is necessary. If you are re-oiling your gaskets I would recommend the GPL106 oil. That is what Ford and some other manufactures use as OEM equipment. They sell a kit (White Lighting?) which has an applicator and 1oz of oil to use on the car door gaskets. You really do not need much oil to recoat the seals. As you go down in number (starts at GPL100 and goes up to GPS107) the oil becomes thinner. The 200 series is a grease and the numbering is the same as the oil (also very expensive).

This is some great specialty oil.
I'm using it on some patio door mechanisms that got hard to operate after many years of heavy use. It is a thin oil (similar to water or slightly thicker) that tends to work its way into the mechanism. Got the catches working like a champ! The only improvement would be a needle tip to allow for more precise application, I might get one of those bottles to fill with this oil. PS: wear gloves when applying, I'm sure it is not good on your skin.
