I am lucky enough to live on a lake in the midwest where we see all 4 seasons greet us every year. With the season's come new plant life as well as mating wildlife. I bought a good set of binoculars but when a pair of beavers moved in a few hundred yards away I knew I needed something stronger so I started a telescope search. It's my first one so I searched tips on what to look for. This one I chose is exactly what I was looking for. Its light to carry outside. It can be used as a tabletop as it has telescoping legs making it extremely useful to leave it setup in front of the window. Multiple strength easily removable eyepieces are a huge plus as it makes it much easier to control the distance of what your viewing. All the containers and covers are very well made to keep things clean. A huge bonus is a bracket to mount your camera phone to the eyepiece to take wonderful shots from various distances. This telescope has been a blast to use watching the wildlife and I cant wait to try the stars and moon in the night sky !

It was easy to set up and the kids love it. It's great for beginners and adults alike. Diffidently worth the money!One of the best gift I give this year.

When you get focused on what you want to look at, it won't stay tightened on that spot. Other than that it's great!!

This is a very well made telescope. We bought it for our 9 yr. old grandson. He was so thrilled to be able to use it last night. Great gift at a great price.

I followed all of the instructions and I cannot get it to focus on anything. I think we got a lemon or this telescope is just junk. I’m so disappointed.

I studied Physics in college so this was easy to figure out. There were no instructions. I did not contact the seller so it is on me. I would have given it 5 stars if it had had instructions.

Habe nach einem Teleskop für mein Kind gesucht. Es sollte nicht zu teuer sein, weil man nicht weiß, ob das Kind nach dem ersten Interesse weiterhin an diesem Hobby bleibt. Es dürfte auch nicht billig/qualitativ schlecht sein, weil dann das Interesse des Kindes automatisch gesunken wäre.Grundsätzlich eine absolute Kaufempfehlung. Jedoch mit drei Beanstandungen.Das Teleskop lässt sich sehr einfach und schnell auf-/ abbauen, es ist sehr leicht und für den Preis leistungsstark. Ein Plus, wenn man es nicht permanent auf der Terrasse stehen lassen kann.1. Manko: der Sucher lässt sich mit drei Schrauben justieren. Diese sind jedoch so angeordnet, dass keine logische Einstellung möglich ist. Man dreht da und da, und versucht das Ziel zu erfassen. Ist das Ziel einmal erfasst, darf man den Sucher gar nicht anfassen, weil er sich sofort verstellt. Außerdem stellte ich fest, das Zielkreuz im Sucher ist mit der Schärfeeinstellung verbundenen und ist nicht mittig. D.h., hat man den Sucher ausgerichtet und versucht die Schärfe einzustellen, wankt das Zielkreuz in der Optik, und nach der Schärfeeinstellung muss man den Sucher auf das Ziel erneut einstellen.2.Manko: hat man das Ziel bereits im Okular und versucht die Schärfe mit dem Drehrädchen einzustellen, man merkt, dass die Anvisierung sich verstellt. Das Teleskop wankt einfach und das Ziel verschwindet aus dem Blickwinkel.3. Manko: Nachführung. Aufbaubedingngt führt man den Himmelobjekten mit einem Stangengriff nach, wie bei den Stativen eines Fotoapparats oder Videokamera. Jedoch bei der derart großen Vergrößerung geht es um die Hundertstel von Millimeter. Die Nachführung mit dem Griff ist einfach nur zu grob. Man versucht den Griff vertikal oder horizontal einfach nur anzurühren, und schon verstellt sich der Blickwinkel gewaltig, und das Teleskop vibriert einige Sekunden lang, bis es sich wieder beruhigt. Und dann stellt man fest, der anvisierte Planet ist aus dem Blickwinkel verschwunden.Also, kurzum: zu diesem Preis von knapp 60 Euro- ein wirklich tolles Gerät für die Einsteiger. Vom Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis habe ich nichts besseres finden können! Der Mond lässt sich super beobachten. Die Planeten mit vorsichtiger Umgehungsweise auch. Grob gesagt, die Optikleistung übersteigt die Stativleistung. Aber für diesen Preis finde ich es absolut in Ordnung!
