Awesome Stands. HUGE clarity/fidelity improvement!
I previously had my monitors sitting on auralex foam pads on top of an old pair of monitors on my desktop. After easily assembling these rock solid stands I placed my monitors on the same foam pads on these stands. It has opened up a new world of clarity for me. Excellent isolation. After calibrating with my subwoofer I can finally mix bass properly, and the other frequencies are significantly clearer. HIGHLY recommended if you have similar setup! Just be sure to calibrate your speakers/sub using an spl meter as opposed to calibration by ear. I was wingin' it until I learned how to properly calibrate and get my monitors (Kali 6") properly isolated. TRUST ME ON THIS!!!!!!!!

Solid
The media could not be loaded. These stands are getting alot of hate here, so I was a bit skeptical... Seeing as I already own some of Gater Frameworks products (all great), I took a chance.... These stands are tanks, and they look amazing in the studio!! Anyone that may end up with screws missing (seems to be the major complaint) I'm sure if you contact the folks at GF they'll work with you!

Perfect for my monitors on the desk surface
I bought these (used) to raise a set of nearfields on one of my mixing desks. They are pretty solid but I four-starred the sturdiness rating only because these stands are adjustable and as a result have some inherent "wiggle" in the stand. They work fine and do the job but there may be some movement of noise generated during use.

Works great but if you have a thick desk you will need to get a different clamp.
I bought the version with the base and purchased desk clamps from a different manufacturer that fit these perfectly because my desk is 3" thick and these would not have worked. So I have options to use them with the base stand if I ever want to. The clamps from WALI will work great if you have a thicker desk but want to still clamp the speaker mounts.Took off one star because it would be great if the out of the box clamps supported thicker desks with an adjustable bracket like the WALI clamps.

Quality
I'm using these stands with 35 lbs. speakers. I was looking for something better but these are working so far. They are sturdy enough but a kid or dog could knock the speakers off the stand.

The plastic parts are a point of failure
Plastic parts feel like they’re there to prevent slippage and keep the metal components in place but they seem to be doing the opposite, at least on the set of these that I got. That being said, they work great as long as I don’t bump or touch them much

Love It! Stable, Great Looking and Practical!
I needed to tilt my speakers up at a slight angle and this was the only product that appeared to do that with a large stable platform. It exceeded my expectations, which is rare. Having just come out, there were almost no reviews when I purchased, so I relied on my technical background and knowledge of Physics (I taught the subject) to judge stability, predicting that the center of mass location with my speakers would lie within the bass.Assembly was smooth and enjoyable. Product is built like a tank and looks great in jet black. In short, I love it. Bravo! Someone still knows how to build a great product.
