Q: What size batteries are included and are there two or one?

CR2032 and they require 2 batteries to function (included, but be careful, sometimes they arrive leaky or exploded).

Q: do these float in water?

Not a continue functioning as a light for very long. They may float for a while since they are plastic and light, but the switch is on the bottom and the battery compartment is not water tight.

Q: how do you open these up...they say about removing a strip and i just dont see one...

Please twist open the light to remove the paper and then close the light tightly.
